Food is decent. Great pricing if you're not wanting to spend a ridiculous amount on bento boxes and sushi. Ambiance is okay. Nothing over the top. Not the best service, but I'm not sure if they are too worried about it. They never checked on us after food was brought, no water refills and never brought our bill. Never apologized.

Perfect place for cheap and yummy Sushi. I agree not Bistro. Yi Sushi Dive is great. Make sure to ask for the birthday song if it is your birthday. The desserts are not good, but you came here for the awesome sweet potato rolls right? Great staff as well.

Have been coming to this restaurant for almost 10 years and they have the cheapest sushi in all of Salt Lake. Every day their sushi is half off! The food is pretty good as well. I really enjoy all of their rolls, but the crunch roll and the Vegas are my absolute favorites.

Hi sushi has been our favorite sushi place in the area for years!!!! They alway keep a high standard of their food and service quality. We were seated soon after we arrived. Our server was friendly and patient. The best part, of course, is their sushi!!! We loved all of our orders!

1st pan, Top to Bottom: Executive, Ichi/Jenny, Christmas, Angel, Vegas. 2nd pan, L to R: Crunchy, Philadelphia, Play Boy.

Yi Sushi Bistro isn't offering any in restaurant dining, so we ordered our food online and it was a very easy process. On their website we ordered fifteen rolls for my family. They say they do a "50% off" discount for their rolls. I don't understand why they don't just list the actual price, because that's what they charge all day/everyday. Anyways, there were two favorite kinds of rolls that stood out above the rest. The Angel Roll and the Executive Roll were enjoyed the very most, and disappeared before anything else. In all we had ordered Vegas Rolls, Angel Rolls, Crunch Rolls, Executive Rolls, Ichi/Jenny Rolls, Play Boy Rolls, Christmas Rolls and Philadelphia Rolls. In the rolls, I did notice the breading on the shrimp was not what I'd call tempura. It seemed like a panko breading or something? It was okay, but not tempura like we were expecting. We will be back. Thank you!

For dates you go to Sapa or Tsunami. For getting together with your friends to eat loads of sushi you go to Yi Sushi. Everything is 50% off the menu. Ambiance is great for get togethers. We went on Thurs 12/26 around 5:30pm and we didn't have to wait for a table. We were 6 adults and 6 kids. I can't remember all the rolls we had. The Tiger Roll was the most delicious

Angel roll

Upon entering, my expectations were a little low, but the quick service and wide variety of well priced sushi quickly changed that. We ordered three different rolls and some appetizers. We were satisfied with the meal, and would consider it again!

We love to pop into this place once in a while for sushi because of the "all time 50% off" deal. They have raised their prices a bit this year, but I'm still very happy with the quality, taste and the amount of food I get here for the price. So far never had an item that was bad. This time we ordered #19-Christmas, #29-True Love, #6-Pink Lady, #S3-Mayflower, Shrimp & Scallops with garlic sauce (house special), and Chinese chicken kebab...yum! Staff are friendly and nice. Will definitely go back :)

For starters, we ordered the Wor Wonton Soup. The broth was rich and hearty. The shrimps were large and plentiful. All the vegetables blended in with the flavors. I just wish the beef was a little more tender. A little marinade in baking soda would fix this. We ordered some chicken lettuce wraps. This has minced chicken, celery, bamboo shoots, and carrots. These are good by themselves but are best with hoisin sauce. I just wish the lettuce leaves were bigger. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was also good. The sauce had a nice blend of mayo, honey and lemon. It had a little too much breading for me but still tasted good. For $16.99, I wished there was a bit more shrimp. One thing I really appreciate - they GLAZE the walnuts! This is one of the few places that I actually like the sauce and they glaze the walnuts! The Crispy Beef is definitely my favorite. In fact, I think this is better than the one I get from Red Maple. It was not too sweet and had just the right amount of heat. Again, I really wish they would marinate the beef in baking soda to soften it up. The last dish we ordered was the Garlic Chicken. The server forgot to put the order in for this dish and there was a rush to get it out to us. They forgot to put garlic in this dish so wee sent it back. It was perfect when it came back. This place is fast becoming our go-to-place for Chinese Food. It's was a nice surprise and I'll can't wait to try the other dishes!

I went on a Saturday, looking for some sesame chicken. Unfortunately, they are lunch special only…read moreruns Monday through Friday, so I had to get a regular sesame chicken and then because I wanted the fried rice instead of the steamed rice I had to pay an extra six dollars for that. So it would've hopefully been a $10 meal ended up being a $20 meal. Unfortunately, their sesame chicken is unlike any other place's sesame chicken I've had. Instead of a chicken that could perhaps be interchanged with orange chicken or General Tsaos, what you get is the your basic deep fried chicken pieces and then on the side is maybe a dipping sauce? Maybe you're supposed to point over? I can imagine their "honey sesame chicken" is a great differentiator menu piece, but it wasn't at all what I was looking for. And the fried rice was just OK - pretty run of the mill, and definitely not worth having to spend an additional $6 to get it. Word to the wise, if you want a typical, deep fried and sticky sesame chicken, order the orange chicken and just imagine the sesame seeds on it. All that said - the inside was very welcoming, and the service was very prompt.

They wrap them tightly in plastic wrap so nothing leaks. The food could get to us 20-30 minutes after it was packaged and it is still piping hot. This is good standard Americanized Chinese food. We've ordered everything from black bean chicken to Mongolian Beef to Moo Goo Gai Pan to Chow Mein to Orange Chicken, and it all beats your standard Panda quality by a bit.

The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I really enjoyed the great chow mein with the beef. Next time I might try it with chicken or pork because the beef was a little hard to chew for my liking. The noodles tasted delicious and flavorful. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. Thank you for the delicious food

We stumbled upon Great Wall and gave it a shot. The inside was a little different in a weird way. There was only three tables in the front and the back had a lounge area. We ordered: Fried rice - the corn in the fried rice tasted almost spoiled Beef brocoli - the beef was tender but not as tasty or fresh Garlic ribs - cut into small portions was not what I expected and a little dry Only great was the service and those fruit on a stick in the glass counter. The high prices was not worth it.

We came on a Saturday around 2:30pm and were able to still get the lunch combo deal (11-3). My bf ordered their sweet and sour chicken lunch combo and literally said it was the best sweet and sour chicken he's ever had (!!). It also only cost $11.90, which - in this economy?? - feels unheard of! I got the fried pork in soy sauce which more resembles braised pork belly with a sweet ginger soy sauce. Super super good, and the two other friends that I've brought here both liked my dish better than theirs ;) My one complaint is that it's just meat. I wish it came with some bok choy or some other veggies to help balance it out! You may also need to request a side of rice since it doesn't come with. We came again a week later because my bf was craving their sweet and sour chicken again (lol) and weirdly the Mr. Feng's menu wasn't provided, just the Noodle and Dumpling one, so we couldn't get the lunch special. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or if they're getting rid of Mr. Feng's completely and replacing it with Noodle and Dumpling? :( My bf got the sweet and sour entree and said it was still good, but the chicken wasn't as crispy. I opted for the general tso's chicken which was really yummy but also really spicy. Idk if they accidentally chopped up some spicy peppers instead of bell peppers, but I was definitely struggling, and I can handle heat! As for service, you may be waiting a while (especially at the front desk since their bell doesn't work lol). It feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant, but that being said their service is possibly more attentive than expected. The waiter we had both times was such a sweet man and was trying his best despite it being busy. My bf and I both fell in love with him, and we secretly joke that he's my bf's new best friend haha. Ambiance is honestly fairly dingy lol but you should go for their good quality food rather than their atmosphere. You'll find your utensils and napkins at the table. Next time I plan to try their egg and tomato or their fried intestines, which I saw on their noodle and dumpling menu!

Or from what I understand, it's one restaurant that was just revamped. On maps it says Mr. Feng's, but then there's also another business called Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle, but then when you drive to the physical location I saw another name called Dumplings something. Super confusing! The front door to Mr. Feng's was also locked, so you have to go around the side (where the parking lot is located) to enter. Anyways, I only saw one waiter during my experience and he was great! He was super charismatic and friendly. Again, some confusion with the menu occurred and he tried his best to explain. It sounds like there's an authentic menu and then a more Americanized menu selection. I got the spicy beef noodle soup, and my friends got the sweet and sour chicken and spicy Szechuan chicken. Overall, nothing spectacular to report. My dish was not spicy at all, but it had flavor. The beef was a bit chewy, but it tasted alright. However, it was reported that the sweet and sour chicken was bland, and the Szechuan chicken was both bland and dry. I'm sad we didn't have a better experience because it seems like an authentic family owned business. The ambiance gives hole in the wall, but just wish our food tasted better!
