Quotes received 31 Mar, and work was scheduled to begin approximately in the middle of May. Exterior work to take about a week, interior several days as per owner. Due to another project delay and family issues, work initiation was postponed until 28 Jun. The first day of work involved dropping off ladders and project box and then they quickly left. Work was spotty afterwards and involved a variable number of painters who only worked a few hours each day (2-6). After about a month, only one side had been fully completed. One other side had been painted but coverage was poor in quite a few areas, caulking incomplete, and there was paint splatter on the bay window roof. Some other areas had been started but not work not completed. The quote was for scraping, sanding, and painting - the owner also mentioned they would power wash to prepare the surface for painting. When work finally started, he claimed they could not power wash as it would create a mess due to the peeling paint. Instead, they would wash by hand, or use a hose, but I did not observe this cleaning process. They scraped and then primed large swatches without sanding - claiming they would sand afterwards. Again I did not see any sanding after the priming had been completed. Instead the final coat was applied over the rough primed surface. Interior painting wasn't much better. The hallway ceiling and walls had to be repainted by contractor as they tried to roll up close to the edges (interior walls and corners) and that left a dark line around virtually all surfaces. A crack was patched and subsequently separated within a week of the repair. I had to repaint part of the ceiling and walls in our family room due to poor paint coverage (dark, blotchy, spots). They did a good job removing a stencil border from the hallway. During the last week of July, the owner and his son went on vacation but assured me that work would continue in his absence. One painter showed up for one hour that entire week and scraped a small area on the back of the house. He indicated he was working on another property by himself and could not attend to our project. We paid the painters for their time, released them, and hired another company. The new painters arrived promptly, the crew worked long hours and completed all work within two weeks as quoted. They also corrected deficiencies noted above and repainted one of the larger surfaces. I finished painting the front porch as that was left incomplete by the first vendor.

We had him install our new towel bars, toilet paper holder and hand towel rings. He did precision work, cleaned up after each days work, made sure everything met expectations. He moved furniture in our bedrooms and returned everything exactly where it belonged upon completion. Because of the quality of his work we had him return to paint our family room. Again an awesome job. Again today he came to fix two doors a porch door needed adjustments with strike plate, overall realignment, rubber door seal. The French door had rot that needed to be cut out and repaired, installed rubber door seal, new sweep, door required overall adjustment, including strike plate adjustment. He will return in a few weeks to help us out with another small project. Keith is professional, a great communicator, makes sure he does a walk through upon completion of his work. His prices are reasonable. He's a professional that is very easy to work with.

We're very happy with all of his work. He is punctual, hard-working, and communicates very well with his clients.
