Ordered some mulch. Quality is OK, more ground up than they led on to say it would be. I was told 3in x 1 in pieces. This stuff is shredded into 0.5 inch by 1.5 or 2 in pieces. I can live with that i guess. I can't picture what the triple ground mulch would be, sawdust?
The kicker is the owner is very rude, and his "35 years experience in mulch" pretty much outweighs anything a customer could have to say when expressing concerns about orders. My order was supposed to fill a medium sized dump truck, as i was told by the sales rep when I called, 12 cu yards. When i called to ask if there had been a mix up with my order as the pile looked kind of small, i was transferred to the owner. Quick to complain about minor problems, like being late to receive the order due to an unexpected car accident blocking traffic, And insistent he was right and that I was wrong, didn't try to be polite in any sense. "He prepared the order", which I guess makes it impossible for a mistake to be made. His experience trumps any concern or complaint you might have. I've had 5 people tell me that pile does not look like 12 cu yards. Didn't even bother to try to accomodate my concerns, let alone look at a photo of the pile or come out to look.
I won't be doing business with them again after his rudeness and lack of proper business skills. Cordial when your giving them money, very rude upon complaint or concern. read more
