I would've planned accordingly to not miss my travel plans in Cappadocia and rebook or take an earlier bus. But they did not send me anything, no email phone or indication on the app. I got to the station 30 mins before and the agent told me it was at another terminal. I walked over and no one knew. Finally another agent found that it was cancelled. I wasn't given much help and had to find a new ticket and figure out what to do myself. Wasn't offered refund assistance and had to go online for customer service even though there were agents in person.

This company is a big scam. All people who work there are rude and not well mannered. I purchased a…read moreticket for me on my birthday to go home from my little holiday trip in advance and arrived to the bus station 1 hour before. But my bus never came. Company workers first refused to communicate with me because I was a foreigner, but then told me that this bus doesn't exist at all. I went through my phone and checked my ticket, everything was correct. I showed them my ticket, they took my phone, ask for my phone number, and after 2 minutes I received the message "thank you, you just canceled your ride". Which I didn't approve or asked for it. After this they told me my bus was just canceled. And they suggested me to wait 5 hours until the next one. and it was late at night. I suppose that I was the only one who bought a ticket for that time and it was not useful for them to take only one person and they decided not to go at all. They never sent me any email or SMS about canceling, did you answer my requests, before this or after. Because of them I ended up in the street for the whole night and very unpleasant things happened to me. People who work there were my worst experience with turkish people in my whole life

This bus takes you from the airport in Istanbul (Ataturk) right into the center of the area…read more(Taksim) and it stops regularly. It looks like it does have other buses for other stops, but Taksim was most common. It can be found as soon as you leave the airport as there are always several lined up by the taxis and many say Havatas and Taksim on the outside. It's approximately 30 minutes from the airport to the final destination in Taksim and about 22 Turkish Lira (from other reviewers it looks like it can vary depending on day) but it ends up being around 7 dollars. Driving in Istanbul looks to me like an insurance claim waiting to happen. The only thing that worried me about taking this bus, was wondering where I would end up (how close to hotel), so attaching map pic I used to help me decide where to book. If you don't take the Havatas, taking the metro would mean changing several trains from the airport and would also take more than an hour. The only other good option (in my experience) is to uber as it's much cheaper than a taxi in Istanbul and there are a lot of uber drivers.

Make sure to double check your destination with the driver. Tickets are purchased on the shuttle bus. The shuttle leaves every 30 minutes from 4am to 1am. I would definitely use this service again.
