Worst experience ever with a Turkish bus company! I wanted to travel from Eskeshehir to Istanbul…read morebut the trains were full, so i needed to go by bus. I have a small kitten with me so i asked the man at the ticket office of Kamel Koc if it was a problem to take her in the bus. The man said it was not a problem, so I bought a bus ticket. I arrived at the bus and took place at my seat. Suddenly the driver came to me and he said in a really angry way that the kitten needed to go in the bagagge room underneath the bus. I refused to do that because she is just a baby and she will move/fall in the bus and maybe she can't breath. All the staffmembers of Kamil Koc were really angry and they were talking/shouting in Turkish. When i wanted to get my money back, they refused. I don't accept the way that they treat their customers. I understand that there are rules, but they should not have lied that she can come with me in the bus in the first place, just to earn money. And the way they treated me was even worse. After this, I looked on the internet and I only found bad review about this company. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I would've planned accordingly to not miss my travel plans in Cappadocia and rebook or take an earlier bus. But they did not send me anything, no email phone or indication on the app. I got to the station 30 mins before and the agent told me it was at another terminal. I walked over and no one knew. Finally another agent found that it was cancelled. I wasn't given much help and had to find a new ticket and figure out what to do myself. Wasn't offered refund assistance and had to go online for customer service even though there were agents in person.

This bus takes you from the airport in Istanbul (Ataturk) right into the center of the area…read more(Taksim) and it stops regularly. It looks like it does have other buses for other stops, but Taksim was most common. It can be found as soon as you leave the airport as there are always several lined up by the taxis and many say Havatas and Taksim on the outside. It's approximately 30 minutes from the airport to the final destination in Taksim and about 22 Turkish Lira (from other reviewers it looks like it can vary depending on day) but it ends up being around 7 dollars. Driving in Istanbul looks to me like an insurance claim waiting to happen. The only thing that worried me about taking this bus, was wondering where I would end up (how close to hotel), so attaching map pic I used to help me decide where to book. If you don't take the Havatas, taking the metro would mean changing several trains from the airport and would also take more than an hour. The only other good option (in my experience) is to uber as it's much cheaper than a taxi in Istanbul and there are a lot of uber drivers.

Make sure to double check your destination with the driver. Tickets are purchased on the shuttle bus. The shuttle leaves every 30 minutes from 4am to 1am. I would definitely use this service again.
