Their skill - by a team of at least 6 crew members- was phenomenal! They coordinated their work, took great care with our yard and fence, and took the trees down without any problems. Our new backyard was filled with large, unhealthy trees that were in danger of falling at some point (and positioned precariously over neighbors' homes!). Rather than wait for that to happen, we called Luna after the biz was recommended to us by multiple friends. The walkthrough and consultation with Liz was straightforward and informative, and we quickly came up with an action plan. Within weeks, the crew was onsite taking down trees -- I was so surprised and impressed that they were able to accomplish so much in December! Communication was great, and the cost was worth every penny. Thinking about the high winds in some of this winter's storms, I'm incredibly relieved that the trees were taken out at the beginning of the season. A couple weeks ago I discovered a hole in the bottom of my chain-link fence. It was my conclusion that the hole could only have been made by the landscaper while mowing my neighbor's lawn. The next week when they were mowing the lawn, I asked the mower about the hole in my fence, and he sheepishly admitted that he had made it. At that time he understood everything I said, and I had no problem with his English. He said I needed to speak with his boss and provided his phone number. I sent a text to his boss who was less than thrilled about the situation. He basically said that his employee probably misunderstood me because he doesn't speak English and the employee said he did not make the hole on my fence. He also challenged me to prove his mower made the hole in the fence. Everything about the hole, including the size, the location and the way the mowers speed around while mowing my neighbor's lawn points to the mower making the hole. But no, I can't prove they actually did the damage. So, if honesty and integrity does not matter, hire this landscaper. But don't be surprised if something goes wrong, and they refuse to admit that they are at fault.
