They took a few good looks at me and said that I should try some of their fades and smooth lines and sharp cuts. They exclaimed, "New city, new look!" But I still walked outta there a sharp-lookin' guy. My hair was so on fleek I was stopping traffic and ladies were walking into walls and fountains while checking me out. The whole barber shop is boxing themed! They have all the greats pictured in there. Mike Tyson's signed gloves are in there! They have boxing shorts, and all sorts of memorabilia from the ring! If you're a boxing fan, you'd dig this place. The barber was quite well versed in his boxing history and boxing standings. It's a small place, but they do a good job. They do a lot of cool stuff that I haven't had from a barber shop in a long time, like straight razors and hot towels. I tried to tip the barber when I left, and he acted surprised when I handed him too much money for the service. The barbers mostly spoke English.

I asked for a traditional, short men's haircut, and service included a shampoo and scissor cut. This is by far the best haircut I have received in years. It is hard to make my hair look good because of the directions it wants to grow and my hair texture (fine and increasingly thin), but Teresa succeeded where many have failed. As a tourist in Barcelona, I've felt torn: it's natural to want to see this beautiful, historic city, but my presence is also an imposition on the local residents who must feel like they're being crowded out of their own home by strangers. Nevertheless, Teresa and the owner made me feel welcome. I'm so grateful for their kindness and skill. Only €32 to look and feel like a million bucks. 10/10.

A true barber, Vicenc Moreto has the answers to any mans hair needs. He runs a clean and well maintained establishment with his nephew Toni, right off the outskirts of Placa Universitat. Although I didnt receive a haircut from either of these two gentleman, the other barber Carlos was the next best option. Vincenc was happy enough to translate what I wanted to Carlos as he worked his shears in an almost artistic and meticulous fashion. All of them have an acute taste for detail and leave no hair unscathed on your head. I usually get a 2 fade on the sides and a trim up top back at home, but decided to be a bit more adventurous an add some European style to my hair. Despite the apparent language barrier, Carlos knew exactly what I wanted and gave me truly one of the best haircuts I've ever had. The prices were extremely reasonable and no more than what I would pay back in the states (Avg about 20$). Overall the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, I truly will not go to any other place while here in Barcelona and will strongly recommend Vincenc to anyone in need of a cut.
