Love it - so nostalgic Yes they have new products too including various Harry Potter specials (not for me thanks). All sorts of licorice and licorice allsorts! Just from hear of the name of this shop, my mouth is watering already!…read more Yes, Chocolicious of Coleshill is a friendly Coffee shop (and Bistro) placed in the high street of its beautiful city that can really change your mood. It's a truly paradise for those who look for delicious homemade products as well and if you cannot resist the chocolate temptation, it's certainly a place to visit soon! Sweets, jams, ice creams, curds and other gorgeous products are available in the place that also has a takeaway menu with a range of sandwich and salad options. I would highlight their display of retro sweets that are probably successful among the children as well as their range of Mrs. Darlington products that are also a lovely suggestion of present, for sure. It's a lovely place to bring your family or friends for a tea or coffee and their facilities also include a beautiful Tea Room. The service is incredibly attentive and they're a fine example of independent shops in the area, as with the range of homemade local products, as with the lovely Community board placed outside the shop!

They have an amazing range of chocolate - boxes of choc, choc slabs, choc bars, drinking choc - you name it, they have it. This is the perfect shop to buy a gift or just to treat yourself. I guess it is more expensive than normal chocolate but it tastes so great that you will be willing to pay the extra. There website is great too which I have used a few times & each time the service has been 5*. They have a chocolate tasting club too (all details can be found on their website) which I would love to join one day. You really should visit Hotel Chocolat - it really is a lovely shop.

It pains me to give Hotel Chocolat only three stars, as I would so love it to be five. Back in the…read moredays when Hotel Chocolat came by mail order only, and then via the website, their chocolates were truly exceptional. The tasting club was a complete treat and the Christmas chocolates sublime. Sadly, the new ranges are something of a disappointment to me. I really don't like the chocolate slabs, despite trying different flavours in the hope I'll find my dream treat. I'm not keen on the big chocolate boxes. Some of the little chocolate collections are delicious, particularly the marzipan and nuts. The other half loves the caramel chocolate buttons and I still reckon the rum soaked sultanas are the closest things to chocolate perfection I can imagine. But overall, the range of chocolate is nowhere as fantastic as it used to be, perhaps because the other chocolatiers are catching up. The shop itself is dark and seductive, and there are often chocolates to try. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is really nothing to dislike about the place. The cost is still expensive, but the relative cost of different items is sometimes inexplicable and does not seem to be related to the ingredients. I just wish they were as much ahead of the game now as they were five years ago.
