I ended up getting a discovery kit and the lovely salesperson printed out a custom label for me and threw in some tiny sample vials. It made me a fan for life and the little custom label indicating where I bought it is the only reason I remembered where I bought it. They were near closing and I wasn't rushed out, 5 stars for customer service.

I thought the staff in this particular shop were particularly helpful - and patient too, as I dithered for ages trying to decide which fragrance to buy! You can try out samples of cosmetics and perfumes in all Body Shops (some you can mix to achieve your own individual fragrance) and I certainly sampled quite a number here (I did finally settle on a nice vanilla-based one before I left)!

While the upstairs 'cafeteria' was closed for the season a lovely selection of hot food was available at the bakery counter. Kudos to the chef!!! Roasted red pepper soup, chicken crumble, and ham/cheese quiche served with a tarragon chutney were all delectible and eaten with a splendid view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and well able to answer all our questions. The only regret was having filled on the hot food we were not up to having what looked like a divine Lemon Curd Cake
