After having a bad experience at another restaurant in town where we were totally ignored by the…read morewaitstaff, we were very happy to find La Pieve. We sat outside and enjoyed the balmy night. The service was quick and friendly and the food was amazing. They even surprised us with a delicious free appetizer of bread with a garlic dip. I had the Thai Curry Chicken which is some of the best curry I have ever had. We are so happy we found this little gem in Mettmann. We will definitely be back. Directly across from the patio is a wooden toy for kids to climb on and the restaurant has coloring books and puzzles for kids as well. They even have a child toilet seat installed on the woman toilet. Lovely!
