Another place I discovered by walking around Tempelhof. This place is actually more like an Imbiss stand, so there really is not space to sit inside, but outside. And I want to say, I was not initially looking for sushi to eat on a weekend, but this was one of the places that was open on a cold and rainy summer evening, and the employees were welcoming -- so, of course, I had to try! (:
I ordered Menü 1, which comprises 6 Sake Maki, 1 Ebi, 1 Sake and 1 Ika. The price was only 5 Euros -- which seemed not too bad at all. As for the quality, I found it to actually be a lot better than previous sushi places I have tried in Berlin. Of course, not the best I ever had, but one of the best in the area so far. They are also freshly handmade when you order.
The employee was also super nice. If I were able to speak Vietnamese, I am sure we would have struck a conversation, since my German is not fluent. I guess, since she also saw I was Asian, I actually got a discount -- awesome!! (: I think I will come here more often when I am feeling too lazy to sit in at a real restaurant for a real meal, but this is definitely something for a quick and cheap meal. (:
Oh, and they also do delivery service. d: read more
