I started to bring my son here on glowing recommendations from friends, and I have been pleased…read more It's hard for me to review a dentist b/c I don't like the dental experience so I have some bias against it, but it is a necessary evil and I know that people need to have dentists for their children, so I'm going to do my best. First the place is very welcoming and clean, full of helpful and kind young people to greet you and check you in. They send reminders and call to remind you about your appointments, and it was not hard to get an appointment at a convenient time. We started here when my son was 2. The waiting area has a fun place for the children to play iPads while they wait and it is so nicely decorated. There is also another area in the back for the kids to play too. When it's time they take the parent and child back and talk to you briefly about what is going to happen that day. Then they take the child back alone and the parent goes back to the waiting room to wait. If they can (child cooperates) they do the whole appointment and call you at the end to talk to you. There has only been one time in 3 years when my son was not agreeable and that time they asked me to come back. They were very sweet to him when he was scared and they let him stand next to the chair by me and did their best to get a "good enough" cleaning. I appreciated that they went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and didn't force the cleaning or upset him more than was necessary. When he left that time he told everyone in the waiting room goodbye and announced he was never coming back again. Boy was he disappointed 6 months later...... We just had our first "pre cavity". It was just starting so a small filling was necessary. After I got over the mommy guilt that I somehow caused this, we made the appointment and everything was explained to us about what would happen. He did well, he made it through all alone. He didn't tell me much about it, but I was impressed that they called later in the day to follow up to see how he was doing. I think the whole thing was harder on me than him. He did get to stay home from school all day and play video games...... Overall, it is a good place and I do recommend it. They are also very upfront about the charges and what is covered by insurance and what is not so there are no surprises later. You have to settle the charges at each visit.

I just came in today because I scheduled a dental appointment and she claimed they couldn't see my baby because he "missed" his appointment that was scheduled for sept 5th that I was not even called or paper mailed about . Very bad service and no communication amongst the co workers . I do not like my time being wasted . I had to schedule a ride just to even come to this appointment. If they weren't going to take my baby in today that should have been known instead of waiting until I walk in there with my child . Very bad work quality. Would not recommend at all . Cute decorations tho.
