A very warm welcome as we arrived in normal Thai tradition, into 'pseudo' Thai décor. I say pseudo but not unliked. It was pleasant sitting in peacock chairs and seeing nice blue linen napkins. Cocktails arrived very promptly and were of generous proportions, did I complain? No way. Food was so authentic that I asked if the chef was Thai. Happens he was Chinese but he knew how to make those dishes sing. Chicken satay was delicious with a slight tang to the skewers cooled by the peanut sauce. The prawns in sesame seed coating were out of this world, especially with that wonderful lime dip. That batter was in no way oily. The main courses did not let us down either. The whole meal was one of the best we had eaten on this holiday. Finishing with coffee and a Spanish brandy. I should say finishing with half a glass of brandy, again generous portions. Even though most people go to some restaurants ON the beach (where food is mostly mediocre) it surely is worth to check out this place. There are several tables inside, but on these summer nights we took a table outside on the terrace, facing the ocean. Our dog was welcome here as well. First night we chose the package deal of 6x Tapas of your own choice, a Jamon and Cheese plater together with a bottle of wine for only 35 Euros. Which is great value. The other night we had some Tapas, a plate of Shrimps and a bottle of wine which came together at 40 Euros. The Tapas here are of great quality. The Shrimp, Mushroom, Anchovies, Sardine, Meatball and Eggplant Tapas were really nice, good spices too. But two Tapas I really wanna point out especially: Curry Potatoes and the Satay-style Chicken Skewers. Both had a wonderfully spiced flavour, a bit Moroccan or Middle-Eastern inspired by the flavour it had. Fantastic items, which we ordered both nights....couldn't get enough of these. It's a really nice restaurant to enjoy dinner. Nice presentation, more-than fair priced and a friendly owner, which hosted us both nights.

Dessert definitely wasn't as good as the main but it was all very affordable so I can't really complain. The seating is unfortunately very uncomfortable, inside and on the patio too. We had planned to sit outside but as it started raining we decided we would sit inside. It was extremely hot inside but the waitress offered to put on the air conditioning, something not a lot of restaurants in Cabo Roig seem to do. Overall I would recommend this restaurant as it has been the best meal I've had since being here and I would come back again, but I will probably have to wear trousers so it doesn't hurt as much to sit on the woven chairs.
