She did our engagement photos in the Outer Banks and we were thankful she was eager and excited to travel for us--we had so much fun. She did such a great job of balancing between letting us have candid moments and helping direct us with our poses. She made us feel so comfortable to be ourselves. The results were stunning. I had my bridal portraits at her natural light studio in an old, historic building with exposed brick and it was the perfect vibe. She did so well with capturing the mood I wanted. For our wedding day, she handled our big rowdy bunch with so much grace and patience, bless her! Everyone loved working with her and we can not wait for our final gallery. Her work ethic, passion for photography, and her love of love/families is so apparent in her work. If I could give 10 stars I would. We have found such a gem in Jessica and can't wait to book her again!!

They were super responsive (even during busy wedding season!) and eased our nerves about having no idea where we wanted our photos done. The day of our shoot, of course my makeup artist was late but Alex and Mallory made it work and were able to get amazing photos with the limited time we had. They seriously went above and beyond for us!! Also, they stuck to the timeline they gave us for turning around our photos, which was a big must for us since were using them for our save the dates. If we weren't getting married in a resort out of the country, we would definitely want them to photograph our wedding! Thank you again Alex and Mallory!!

Four our engagement session she had great ideas for where and how to shoot our photos. Heather is so full of energy and an amazing person to be around, she made the engagement session so much fun. There aren't enough words to express how amazing her and her son Braeden were on our wedding day. On our wedding day, Heather sat down with me to schedule out the day and wanted to make sure she got any photos I specifically wanted. Heather also coordinated with our DJ and they worked so well together. Heather really makes the bride feel like she has her back and is there for her, but also making sure things run as smooth as possible. Heather's son Braeden was our second photographer and he is such a wonderful and talented young man. He didn't hesitate to get photos and video of the ceremony and reception. Heather and Braeden felt like family on our wedding day even though they were there to capture it. Both engagement and wedding photos came out amazing and we could not be happier with our experiences and photos. We highly recommend Heather and Braeden for any and every event you want to capture. We will be using Heather and Braeden to photograph all of our life moments.

Having had the privilege of multiple pictures taken through the years by Kathleen Martin, this is a…read morereview I'm excited to write. I met Kathleen when she was doing LKN Sports photography for the sports and club teams. My son played lacrosse on the same team her son did and it eventually dawned on me that this nice mom on the team was producing some pretty stellar shots of my son and everyone else's sons. I cherish the pictures she shared with me, catching moments in the game that I sometimes missed. As she moved on to senior photography I marveled at the variety of locations and her ability to capture her subjects in places and with props that reflected their passions. Our school had a mandated senior photographer otherwise I would have chosen Kathleen for our senior photos. During the Covid shutdown she brought The Front Porch Project to Mooresville. It was an opportunity to support a worthy charity, Feed NC and also a chance to capture this difficult and scary time, with our families, on our own front porches. I cherish these photos the same way I cherish my lacrosse photos from 10 years earlier. Kathleen has a unique ability to easily get subjects into flattering poses, working quickly and efficiently and even got our dog to smile in one shot! When someone tells me they are in need of a photographer Kathleen Martin is always the name I pass forward. I've seen her work, having followed her on social media for years, and although I rarely give 5 star ratings on Yelp - she is one who has earned it from me. She's a talented photographer who brings out the best in her subjects. Just look at her work and I think you'll readily agree.
