a pizza in a box

Very good authentic NJ/NY thin crust pizza. They sell by the slice or whole pies and even have delivery. Sometimes they're out of slices which I wish they'd keep some out always even if they have an overage at the end of the night. The recent guys working haven't been that friendly. Been going here for over 10 years. Solid pizza for sure.

Yaghis New York Pizzeria off Cypress was great. My order was ready when promised and no issues. Friendly staff and delicious pizza. What more can you ask for?

There is actually sauce on this garlic nut. They are a little larger than a dime, but smaller than a quarter. Not worth th 3.75

We tried this place for the first time and was not impressed. It kinda had a New York style feel, but that was it. Ordered the garlic nuts and was really disappointed, and the sauce that came with it was more like red water. Agree with a previous comment, don't think the quality was there Overpriced. A medium cheese was 15 and it was 2.75/topping.

Bacon???

Was very excited to try a new pizza place my neighbors told us about. Ordered 2 pizzas and a side salad on a Friday night. Took a little over an hour to get here, but is to be expected for a Friday. Pizzas arrived warm. Positives: crust was delicious. Negatives: mystery meat??? After receiving our pizza containing what I can only assume was some form of turkey bacon, I called the store to inquire as to what I had ingested. Below is a transcription of that conversation. Me: hello, I just ordered a pizza and am wondering what type of meat I just ate? Store: well, what type of pizza did you order? Me: Bacon and jalapeño. Store: are they little rectangles? Me: yes, with a light stripe on one side and dark on the other. It's definitely not bacon Store: well, that's "our bacon." Is there anything else I can help you with? Me: Fair enough, have a good day. Would not recommend due to inability to identify meats. Have a glorious day! Hope you all have a better experience.

Delicious pizza

This a great spot for a pizza lunch in Cedar Park. Great service and conveniently located. Great variety of pizzas to choose from.

A craving for a meatball parm sandwich strikes again. Wanting to try someplace new, and found Yaghi's serves one. I have been here before for pizza and it wasn't bad. This small store hardly ever has any customers in it when I come here. They must do a lot of pizza pick up orders. The counter guy was making boxes but stopped promptly when I came in. He was friendly and helpful. I ask for a meatball parm and he tells me about the daily special. For the same price I get a drink, but I didn't want a drink. He insisted and told me to take a bottled water. Okay, so I got free water. Found a stool by the window to begin my wait while they made my sandwich. It was only about 15 minutes when I received my hot sandwich. It was still hot when I got home. This was a dam good sandwich for $4.75. It was big enough to have two meals. The meatballs were meaty, the bread toasted just right, and the perfect amount of melted cheese. Don't know why I don't come here more often.

Margarita pizza. Like warm

Living in cedar park almost 5 years - it was time for me to try Yaghis. I drive passed it frequently and tell myself " oh look - New York style pizza " This time I figured I would give delivery drivers a break and pick it up myself. I mean- I drive right by it. Put in the future order :large pepperoni, medium margarita. Boom ready for pick up at 5:05 Arrived walked in to welcome staff. And he repeated my order - but said cheese not pepperoni. I made a comment it should be a pepperoni and he said ' yea 1 pepperoni and 1 margarita. So I said "ok" Got home it was cheese. No biggie. But the thing that frustrated me about this - was that he lied - Either way. We like cheese pizza. So No biggie right? Right. Pizza was less than hot , had to be cut , not my best night for pizza. The pie had a decent taste- but overall prob will keep using my other cedar park pizza spots. Hey- never hurts to try. Oh. And it was pricy. $40 after tax for one large and one medium pizza. Good luck. Thanks for eating with me today, and I'll see you on the next one.

The paneer was soft and well-seasoned with just the right amount of spice. The flavors were really good, though I felt the pizza could reach another level with premium or fresher ingredients. For Indian fusion pizza in Austin, this is still probably the best you'll find. The service was good--our servers were kind and helpful. If you have a craving for Indian, but in a quick pizza type bite, this is the place. Service was friendly and efficient. Smallest size, 10", was enough for a generous lunch. Pizza crust was good and tasty, nice crunch, along with a good chewy crust. Service was order at the counter, and they bring it out when done. Interior is very simple, but fine for an informal lunch. Added bonus of South Asian music items on play on the big screen, instead of the ubiquitous sportsball du jour. The ones playing when we were in there were from Telugu cinema, which we appreciated as our taste in Indian cinema has expanded greatly over the years from Hindi language movies. Lots of choices on the menu, will have to work through the list in months to come!

Our server was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the place has a cool little vibe that feels relaxed but still energetic. We got there around 11:00, and by 11:15 or 11:20 the place was already lively and noisy, which honestly tells you people know where the good pizza is. I had the House salad with Caesar dressing, and it was fresh and loaded with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, mushrooms, black olives, mozzarella, and crunchy garlic croutons. For pizza, I ordered the City Pie, and those toppings were giving -- pepperoni, Italian sausage, spinach, mushrooms, onions, black olives, and bell peppers. I'm not usually a huge fan of super thin crust pizza, but this one worked because the toppings and flavor carried every bite. The girls ordered the Queen Margherita, and it looked just as good as it sounds with fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, Parmesan-Reggiano, and basil. We also tried one of the house sodas, and it was really, really good. Everything paired together perfectly. Definitely a spot I'd go back to again.

One stop shopping for primo eating and drinking good times…read more * * * Obsidian Brewery makes beer. I have no idea how the beer is. I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.
