The entire team at Marine Max went out of their way to help me again. They replaced the cushions and also did a great job in installing some gear I wanted on my Boat. The enter staff got involved in helping me including Manager Christian Gonzalez, Salesman Brian Carranza , Finance Manager Estephanie Herrera and Service Manager Andrew Armao. 1 star. I would never buy another boat from MarineMax. We…read morebought a brand-new boat from MarineMax Miami and spent the next 18 months dealing with one problem after another. In the roughly 55 hours we actually used the boat, it generated approximately 25 warranty/service requests. MarineMax was sending people to work on it almost every couple of weeks. Think about that. A normal outing for us is 5 or 6 hours, so we probably used this boat 9 to 11 times. That's roughly 2 to 3 warranty/service requests for every outing. On a brand-new boat. Eventually it became so unreliable that I refused to put my wife and children on it. The boat itself was the manufacturer's failure. My 1-star review of MarineMax is about how they handled the situation. We repeatedly escalated what was happening and asked for help. The President of MarineMax Miami never called us and didn't respond when I emailed him directly. The head of MarineMax service was copied on our communications throughout approximately 18 months of problems. We met with him exactly once and I never received a phone call from him. After we finally gave up and sold the boat, the President of MarineMax Miami responded to my final complaint and actually wrote that he had not gotten involved because he "did not feel [he] needed to intervene." That statement says everything about our experience. If a brand-new boat with approximately 25 warranty/service requests in 55 hours, service personnel showing up almost every couple of weeks, and an owner who no longer feels comfortable putting his children aboard doesn't warrant the attention of dealership leadership, what does? We finally sold the boat with only 65 total hours on it just to put an end to this experience. MarineMax likes to say "Delivering the Dream." For our family, they delivered the nightmare. If you're considering buying a boat from MarineMax, my advice after going through this for 18 months is simple: don't. Read what happened to us and don't make the same mistake I did. You don't really find out what kind of dealer you bought from until something goes seriously wrong.

Gabe exceeded expectations, the quality of the work, the communication, updates, delivery, and standing behind his products was all exceptional. He was even willing and able to top off the boat prior to drop off which was beyond the initial scope; and a bit of a surprise I dropped last minute. Gabe is very experienced, provided solid advice based on the same, but wasn't pushy or coming off as a know it all in any way. The team did what they said they would do, their pricing was fair and upfront, and they maintained the agreed schedule within the bounds of what's possible. What more can you want? If you text him, he responds. He's completed several repairs on my boat and all were expertly done. Recently, my boat took on water from the heavy rains this past weekend. My battery drained and the compartment flooded so no power was going to my bilge pump. I called Ernesto and he came out within 30 minutes. He helped me bail water until Maria could arrive with an auxillary pump. He saved my boat from sinking! I would highly recommend Marea Marine to family & friends.

Avoid Voodoo Marine at all costs! My experience with Angel, the owner, was a complete nightmare…read more After dropping off my boat for service, I was promised updates on costs, but communication quickly fell off. I went two weeks without any word, and when I finally heard from him four weeks later, it was an excuse about back surgery, something which he could of let me know in advanced but instead choose to ghost me. By week six, the bill was an outrageous $5,500 with no prior estimate. I paid it, hoping the repairs were done, but upon testing the boat, the motors wouldn't start. After bringing it back, I faced overheating issues and was promised a follow-up trip to ensure everything was fixed. Despite this, Angel had the audacity to send me another invoice for accompanying me to the marina. After I had gone 3x to test the boat after his "service". The prices he charged were ridiculous, and every other shop I've consulted agrees. This was my first boat, and unfortunately, I learned the hard way. I hope my experience saves someone else from making the same mistake.
