Andri is a master barber who works quickly and with precision. Very hard to find a shop with a family vibe. Everyone knows everyone and it is a comfortable place to get a cut and hang out for a while. If you are looking for a great cut in Richmond Hill, there is simply nowhere better to go. Make an appointment with Andri or else you'll be waiting for a spot. He gets booked up pretty quick.

Back…read morehome I had the same barber for many years, we formed a friendship and he was a freakin beast with the scissors/clippers... Eventually I found a spot on the LES and settled there, I tried out all the barbers there but one was better than the rest. That's Andre. Ever since, I have been going to get my cut wherever he works, a lot of the time traveling over an hour to get to him. But there's a reason for that, and that's because he is a BEAST with the scissors! Young or old? Don't matter. Old or modern style? Don't worry! He's got you covered! Now he has started his own barbershop, I can definitively tell people where to go and get the best cut in NYC. Right here guys. Look no further. Chapter 1 and Andre has got you!

I called and made an apt making sure I showed up on time. The shop is a chic display of class and style. There are colorful artwork of sports and entertainment stars. The barbers all have multiple uniform options and the space is impeccably decorated and clean. There are plenty of comfy couches while you wait and 2 huge screens to keep you entertained if you're not like me and just staring at their work the whole time. It's far from your average barber shop. As a female, I didn't feel intimidated walking in and connecting with Jazz. Jazz didn't just give me a "faded Fro" aka tapered cut she literally changed how I felt about myself #newlookwhothis. Every single barber there takes visible pride in their work and their clientele leaves seemingly quite pleased. Btw, the clientele is very mixed race so don't think because they're black they can only cut hair of a certain texture. Check out their IG @thefadegame and (Jazz @fadedfro) and check out their work. I promise you too will be hooked.
