The physicians are great but the front desk receptionists are not, especially Rosie, and that matters when you are not feeling well! While I was waiting to be seen, I saw how both receptionists treated a man who was in the lobby with his sick little girl, waiting for her to be seen. They told the man that they can't see his daughter due to her insurance, so he offers to pay out of pocket, but they still wouldn't see his daughter, so he was upset about that and because he had clearly been waiting awhile for her appointment. He was also annoyed that they didn't call him before he came in to let him know that they didn't accept his daughter's insurance. Before you go in, they have you upload your insurance card and license, so they wasted his time and didn't even apologize. I get his frustration! After he and his daughter left, Rosie and the other receptionist were talking about him loud enough so that I and the other patients in the lobby could hear. Very unprofessional! After my appointment, my prescription was sent to Walgreens (which is closed on Sundays), so I call and speak to Rosie and ask for my prescription to be canceled at Walgreens and sent to CVS. CVS never received it and closes at 5 p.m. on Sundays, so I call back the next morning and speak to Rosie. Rosie said the prescription at Walgreens was canceled and then resent to Walgreens. Since I wasn't able to fill and take my prescription the same day as my appointment, I became even more sick and had to take the day off of work. I asked Rosie to transfer my prescription to CVS, again, and she said she would speak to the provider. I asked to hold until she did, to ensure it was transferred this time. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, she disconnects the call so I call back and she picked up, didn't say anything and put me back on hold. I called back a few more times and she did the same thing, so I went in person to get the issue worked out. In person, Rosie initially didn't own up to the fact that she made a mistake or apologize and her demeanor was extremely rude. She eventually admitted that she made a mistake when she walked away from the front and hid out in the back until my prescription was transferred. The male nurse who took Rosie's place up front was trying to gaslight me by telling me that Rosie is great with patients, but he didn't have anything to say when I mentioned the guy from the day before that came in with his daughter (who the male nurse also had to speak with since the receptionists are horrible). DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE!! The care you receive is awful! My grand father who is only 60 went in to the urgent care because he couldn't breathe and felt like he had someone standing on his chest went in and they told him that he had asthma and gave him an inhaler. About two weeks later he went back because the inhaler wasn't helping at all. Again they told him that he just had asthma and to keep using the inhaler! One week later he went to his yearly exam and the doctor told him that he was in AFIB a DEADLY HEART CONDITION!!!! NOT ASTHMA!! He then had to be told rushed to the hospital and had to stay there for multiple weeks!!!! I have gone there twice with very seriously broken bones and the first time they refused to take an x-ray! We had to tell them that we needed an x-ray no-matter what because we could easily tell the bone was broken!! In the end they took the x-ray and it wound up being a break so bad that I couldn't put any pressure on my foot for over TWO MONTHS!!! After this we still had to go to the emergency room and wait for hours because they told us that they couldn't do anything to fix or help it and we needed to go somewhere else! The staff are unqualified to read x-rays and you have to wait 2 days for them to tell you what a radiologist said! The wait for help is extremely long even if there is only one other person in the building and it is not fun to wait an hour for two people that just have a common cold when you have a broken bone. There are so many more reasons to not go to this urgent care that I have heard from family and friends so overall AVOID THIS URGENT CARE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I am in disbelief of how rude and unprofessional the staff was. Girl at the front did not greet anyone and was rude to be for not marking one box on the forms. Waited 25 minutes with an appointment for a very strange and unpleasant tech to take my blood pressure. Doctor was nice but she came in not knowing what I was there for and saying that I was in for something else. Very strange urgent care experience. Update - Reached out to my carrier, the urgent care was blaming the insurance carrier for their lack of follow through in submitting a claim saying that their contract with the carrier stipulates that they can't submit after 120 days (something like that) as I stated in my previous post, I was in the industry for many years and it is well now that you have at least one just medically from the day of service. I reached out to my daughter's carrier. Luckily I had an amazing customer service person. After sharing my experience with the urgent care sharing their excuse as to them siting that the claim could not get paid due to the limits of their contract with the insurance carrier. The representative confirmed that even if the claim is more than a year old, they can still submit to get paid out from the insurance carrier. She reached out to billing at the Xpress urgent care billing office. They gave her a different story saying it's an internal policy! This is a totally different claim from the when my daughter spoke to them and the story i was given. They were very clear that it was the insurance carriers contract that limited the urgent care from submitting the claim. All and all the insurance rep submitted the claim and gave me a reference number. I actually went to the billing office in HB and left my information and have heard nothing from the billing manager. I went to this urgent care on Friday, March 28, 2025. I was very sick with a sore throat and congestion in my chest. They swabbed my throat for an extra charge and the strep test was negative, then they wanted to charge me again to swap for something else. I wound up leaving and I'm still very sick. my doctor couldn't get me in. He doesn't charge every time he swabs my throat. is that a normal rip off tactic for urgent care facilities? If I could give 0 stars for this review, I would. This urgent care made me severely uncomfortable and the employees/staff were very unprofessional. I came here with my mom on 8/6/2025 for an issue I had with my hip. It was my last resort due to not finding a doctor in my area that takes my current insurance. The front desk receptionists did not greet us when we walked in, just stared at me and waiting for me to tell them why I was there. The "nurse" that took my blood pressure, heart rate, etc. is the whole reason on why I will NEVER go back to this facility. When going back to get my x-ray done, they didn't have any shorts for me to put on, since i was wearing jeans, so he made me take off my jeans and had me "cover up" with a small towel. That barely covered anything!! He was cussing in front of me while trying to get the x-ray machine to work, which he DID NOT know what he was doing. Im starting to think they didn't even do an x-ray. After the x-ray was over, he started PULLING UP MY JEANS FOR ME! I felt so uncomfortable and did not know what to say or do. Then, after he started to pull up my jeans for me, he started to pull the table back to where it needed to be with me still on it and said "we're going on a little train ride!" WTH, I'm not 5 years old. After all said and done with the x-ray and my little "train ride", the "nurse" told me "Thank you for helping me out with that". Um, what did I help you with? You pulled down my jeans for me and pulled them back up????? When I went back to the room with my mom, the so called doctor said that they would give me a call back with my results either that night or the next day, and it never happened. Do not go there !!!! My hand was black and blue and swollen. I went in for X-rays. After taken X-rays they told me nothing was wrong and to go home and continue to ice it. The next day they called back to say something is wrong with your hand go to your doctor immediately. Thank god I was able to get in to see my doctor the next day on a cancelation. They asked why this urgent care did not put me in a splint!!! I was rushed to my doctors urgent care where they put me in a splint. A week later I went to see a hand specialist. They could not even read my X-rays. They were so blurry. I was sent to another place to get new X-rays. Now I have to wait another week to go back to my hand specialist so he can read my new X-rays. You're finally taken back, only for them to completely ignore the paperwork. To completely dismiss your medical issues, and prescribe something that has nothing to do with your diagnosis.... The doctor literally came in, asked questions without doing a full body assessment. Belittled me. Was only in there tops.. 2 minutes. Like are these actually licensed professionals? Or scammers. I'd like to get my money back and take it to somewhere that actually listens and actually preforms an assessment and not just prescribe medication.... VA Medical Community Care Services referred my partner to this location for emergency care. We were instructed to go here for a doctor evaluation which would most likely include being given a written order for imaging services. He is 76 and has had a pain level of 8-10 for the past 10 days so just getting him there was difficult. Unfortunately, we were met at reception with an "I don't give a sh*t" attitude and told they do not give referrals. I called Community Services back and explained the situation. The agent apologized profusely for our experience and suggested it might be easier to go directly to the Long Beach VA Med Center. We live in CM and the only reason we went to urgent care is because it is only a mile from our house and our car is currently in the shop for repair. We wound up taking Uber to/from the VA the next morning. Based on our experience at this urgent care, I strongly recommend going elsewhere for treatment. read more

Do not go to this urgent care. I went in for a visit a little before 7:40pm due to a motorcycle accident. I have a lot of chest pain on the left hand side, down my sternum, I have a big swollen ball on my side, can't straighten my arm, move my wrist, and have back pain. I was told they were almost closing but they would take me in. I paid $115 for the visit and it was very rushed. The dr came in and was speaking really fast as if she wanted to go home. I explained what happened. She didn't bother looking or checking anything. All she said was that she could prescribe me ibuprofen and steroids. When I asked if she wasn't even going to look at anything or X-rays she just had me lift my shirt up and felt down my sternum and chest but said it'll heal on its own. I explained concerns about them not taking imaging with having something ruptured since I have implants and pain is worse when I do something that makes my lungs expand but she kept insisting it'll heal on it's own. The visit took no more than 10 minutes. She didn't check any of the other areas where I was in pain. read more

Came here for routine covid testing due to being at high risk exposure from work. Set an appointment online at 7 am for 9:24 AM, got here before my scheduled appointment time & it was empty. They only accept appointments at this time & no walk ins for anything covid related. My suggestion is to upload & fill everything you need online (license & insurance), so it's a quicker process once you get there. The only thing they asked me to do was fill out a form (name & signature) and I was good to go for testing. A quick walk to the opposite side of the building and waited for someone to come out to perform the test. Waited 20 minutes & went in to get my rapid results. It's as easy as that! A negative comment I do have is the ladies at the front desk need to lighten up a tad bit, be more approachable, or put someone else in front because I know I did not want to ask any other questions with the way they answered all of my other ones. One of them even raised her tone at me to wait outside when there wasn't even anyone inside. Customer service definitely needs a whole lot of improvement at this location. read more

She couldn't tell me if it was working. 3. She didn't know if in the case my hand is broken whether they put the cast on there. 4. She told me it wasn't her job to know that! 5. My daughter is three years old & her doctors office wouldn't accommodate emergency appointments. Female doctor was very caring & talked directly to my daughter with clear instructions about what the procedure would be. Poked a needle to remove puss & cleaned the area. The location itself is fine, however the employees have very poor customer service skills. The reason I am leaving this post is because while I was in the waiting room for my appointment a man walked in who had something lodged in his eye, he was clearly in distress and asked if he could be seen. The lady couldn't care less, she said they aren't equipped to help him (which they aren't) and gave him attitude like she wanted him to get out. She told the man he could go to a hospital and they can help him, what really got on my nerves is while he was leaving she mumbled under her breath "we can't help you just get out of here" and it really upset me to see how little human emotion and care could be shown to a man looking for help. read more

She used the tongue depressor anyways and my reflex was to push her hand back. I apologized to her 3 times and her response was " i cant have patients that claw my hand". When visiting this urgent care for a rapid Covid test Daniela C. was very rude. She works the front desk as patient check in. I was taken into the room and swabbed and seen by the doctor. I was given the results and was told to have a nice day. After leaving Daniela C. yelled my name and told me I had a balance to pay. I was over the moon when she told me I still had to pay for the Covid test! I work in a medical office and to my knowledge you are charged all at once before being seen. After being charged an arm and a leg for a test! I was in shock how this office handled themselves and was so rudely talked at by staff. SCAM OF A BUSINESS. RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK. We needed to go here in a last ditch effort because our PCR tests had not arrived for international travel. I kept getting text messages from them about rapid tests and figure why not. I thought our insurance would cover it and I bet the person working at the front desk did not even check. We walk in and she tells us it's not covered and it's $160 EACH for the shot. We get it. We pass the test. Yayyy. Turns out it's the same test that you can get at CVS for $23.99. If anyone is the one to blame it's me. I should have done a better job of due diligence. This was my fault. However, I needed to post this to let people know that you can literally walk across the street into the CVS buy the same BinaxNow Covid test and save yourself $142. Wonderful, stress free experience. Able to make a same-day appointment online. Wait time or less than 5 minutes upon arrival. Friendly and helpful staff. Based on initial review, PA recommended an X-ray of my hand which was done on-site within minutes. Initial, preliminary results were delivered by the PA immediately with a detailed follow up call a few hours later after the x-ray was fully reviewed. Very impressed! This was my first time using an urgent care as I've tried to avoid at all costs due to many urgent care horror stories I'd heard from friends and family. This Place sucks. I went on a holiday weekend.. fortunately they were the few that were open. No one was there when I went and I still had to wait awhile. Anyway I get it you have to wait usually at any medical place. But I just needed medicine for a bee sting. The physician came in didn't even look at my foot that was stung. Said oh your good no infection I'm like yeah I know I just need a prescription so the swelling goes down I'm Allergic to bees and always get stung. Anyway as we leave they lock the doors. Closing time I assume. Go to the pharmacy. And what do you know they didn't do the paper work. Pay all that money for a prescription and they didn't even send it. Wake up the next morning before work and call them. The guy I talked to on the phone was fine and fixed it but I still had to wait hours.
