Very good quality weekly Welsh newspaper in the Welsh language!…read more I buy it when I can. You can get it delivered in certain areas. I had that in Cardiff which was very nice. I like the crossword in Y Cymro. The articles are well written - and I like the layout. Often there are very good photographs in it. The present editor is very professional - and you always get a feedback which I like. This can be rare in Wales so I appreciate it even more! You also get all sides of the story which is important. Sometimes I write an article for Y Cymro which they publish if they think it is interesting for their readers.

Being a small family business they will generally take reasonable requests if you ask politely. Loses a star due to lack of choice and they often run out of stock for specific items.
A great little newsagent up in Twthill. Malcolm stocks the usual newspapers, magazines, cigarettes,…read moredrinks and sweets. He also, somewhat oddly, stocks a wide range of fishing gear. Malcolm enjoys fishing and can offer advice on what kit to buy etc. Although it may appear strange to sell this gear from a newsagent shop word of mouth means people know where to find him. The shop is within easy walking distance of the town centre, and luckily is on the main stretch that most schoolkids walk to school - meaning plenty of business to be made around 9am and 4pm, though the shop can be a little busy for non-hobbits!

The Waverley is one of the last honest newsagents in the Wirral as far as I'm concerned. In an age…read morewhere supermarkets and convenience stores are taking everything away from small businesses, the Waverley has battled through and is still a very popular shop within West Kirby and Hoylake. This is because of the level of service given to customers and the dedication of the shop owners for good quality and service. Not only do they stock a range of newspapers, magazines and traditional confectionary, they also specialise in wine and chocolate. In fact, friends have said that the owner is a wine expert and at least two of them have gone to seek his advice when needing wine for a special occasion and when buying for somebody who knows their wine! I've always had very pleasant experiences here and would recommend buying from here over any supermarket!
