I joined Xplosive Fit about a month ago. At 4 months post-partum when I joined, I struggled to lose weight healthily (sleep deprivation, not meal prepping) and knew I needed a gym and trainer who I could turn to for accountability and to help me a get a work routine back. Since joining, I've already shed about 6 pounds and lost about 2% body fat! Coach Rod's meal plans are easy to prep and follow, and won't leave you feeling hungry. I appreciate the check ins and how he tailors your plan to meet your specific goals. I also love taking classes with Coach Sean and Coach Nick. They're so supportive and most importantly, keep you motivated while checking your form. The classes might be only 30 minutes long, but they are TOUGH and will keep your heart rate pumping. Everyone in the group classes have been super kind and inviting and it's such an awesome community to be a part of. I signed up for the 6-week program and have been loving the classes with Coach Nick! I've met with Coach Rod every other week since starting and he curates the program to your needs and your goals - movement, motivation, and meals. If you want to slim down and lose weight, this is definitely a place to be to start a new lifestyle and a supportive community. Their program works. Here's why: First let me tell you about myself. I am 5.9", Asian, "big boned" and I was 34 years old beginning January 2024 weighing in at 235.3 lbs and 34.5% body fat. At the beginning of 2024, I decided to try a "one meal a day" kind of diet and just build my own workout program by watching YouTube videos. After six months, I weighed around 225.8 lbs and 30.5% body fat. "My program" was "working". Then I saw an ad for XplosivFit and decided to try it out. At the beginning of the program, I was 225.8 lbs and 30.5% body fat. After a month, I am 217.8 lbs and 26.3% body fat. I lost more weight and fat in a month being part of XplosivFit than doing things in my own. Needless to say, their program works so long as you follow through and do the work. My biggest take away is the nutrition. It's a complete 180 from one-meal-a-day (OMAD). I am eating about 4-5 times a day and I'm losing weight. In the program, my average caloric intake per day is 2500 calories. When I was doing OMAD, I was afraid of eating more than 2000 calories a day on average because it would make me gain weight. The workouts are "easy", meaning anyone can do them and they don't do any gimmick-y exercises. The workouts are HIIT-based and I think they're very well thought out in targeting different muscles and the weekly workout splits cover your whole body. They're about 30 minutes long and I burn an average 250 calories according to my smart watch. The most important thing during the workouts is your effort. All you have to do is try and keep moving and you'll make it and see results. My only criticism is that the workouts seem too short and because it is HIIT, it is difficult to lift heavy without sacrificing form so I tend to go lighter on the weights when I'm here. I like to lift heavy so I still do go to my home gym on days I don't go here. read more

I started a 6 week challenge at this amazing studio 3 weeks ago. I get full guidance from the coach on healthy nutrition, workouts and ways to handle my new healthy lifestyle outside of the studio. Great "6 Week Challenge Program" to change eating and exercise habits! This is a program that is anchored by daily accountability and communication with Coach Rod of XPLOSIVE Fitness. Rod and his team of fitness instructors are personable and know everyone in their group classes by name! I value the Challenge program and am on my way to meet my health and fitness goals because of the changes introduced to my diet and physical activity! I am following their 6 week challenge eating plan that is tailored to my present weight and nutritional needs! You won't go hungry! I don't know where to begin, I have nothing but amazing things to say about XplosiveFit. Coach Rod and Coach Nick are the best coaches anyone could ask for. My husband and I gained so much weight after the birth of our baby in 2020. THEN the pandemic hit and we REALLLLLY packed it on more! For 2 years after, we tried (what we thought was everything) to get back to ourselves, but nothing worked. We bought a ton of exercise equipment thinking we'd use it at home - NOPE. Absolutely love this gym & all the coaches. The vibe in the room during the workouts is incredible! Lots of high energy, great exercise sets, motivating music; all while having fun working out and getting in shape. The other gym members are so supportive and friendly. Let me break it down for you: I ALWAYS worked out really hard, but never saw the improvements I wanted. So I turned to crazy diets, MORE hard work, and even less results. Cue Rod. Absolute legend. He looked at my body stats and immediately figured out how to fix the problem. I was doing all the work, but didn't have the key info I needed to change my diet. I swear to God, I feel fully satiated every day, even when presented with cheat meals, I have no desire to break my diet -- it's DELICIOUS, simple, cost effective. DIET: Simple, protein heavy, fat low, more than enough, delicious. WORKOUTS: I actually look forward to getting up early to work out with everyone; the community is positive, motivating, and infectious. These guys are so welcoming and awesome. I'm finding I have WAY more discipline than I thought. I love the diet, I'm losing approx 1% BFP each week whilst building lean muscle, and I love it. I've been with them for a few months now and all I can say is it works! The workouts are spot on and I'm stronger than I've ever been. I've lost 10 lbs of fat while maintaining muscle with Rods meal plans and accountability. Every week or 2 the meal plan changes so it's never boring and you're always working towards something. There are also allowances for drinks and splurges within the plans. The workouts are challenging yet they always offer modifications so everyone can do what they are comfortable with. Coach Rod and Nick encourage you to work harder or lift heavier so you don't get stuck and I can't believe what I am capable of. Consistency is key! I can't say how many things I've tried and quit before I found this gem of a gym. The classes are fun! All you do is show up and follow the instructions and then leave sweaty and happy.
