I am Happy to say that I can highly recommend Michael Potts to Inspect your prospective home. We found a condo that my wife and I wanted to buy. We called Michael and he was able to schedule an inspection for the condo that we wanted buy and sign sales contract as a buyer. Michael and his son Mario showed up to do the inspection, for what ever reason three agents were there telling me that he inspected the same condo several months earlier and I was wasting my money. They were rude to Michael saying that they fixed the items he found last time. As it turns out they lost a buyer because of the issues that Michael had found. Micheal explained that he worked for the buyer and to please let him do his job. I told him we still wanted him to inspect and to verify what we were being told. Micheal was able to pull the last inspection to verify that the items that failed the previous inspection. He reassured me that he and Mario would reinspect everything and let me know where each item stood. Mario went into every craw space, cabinet and closet to ensure I would have no issues. Thankfully, in walking around the house with Michael, he was able to educate me on the issues he found and verify the new items had been fixed. He checked the new AC, appliances and the electrical to ensure that they were installed correctly. From Michaels advice I was able to sit down with the homeowner, we were able to get them to correct the items Micheal had found saving us money before we signed a contract. After my scheduled home inspector ended up in the hospital, Michael managed to work me in to his schedule for an inspection of a house on which I had a sales contract as a buyer. The house had some problems that I recognized, having owned houses in the past. However, what I didn't realize was how many issues the home had, some of which would cost me a lot of money! Be Ware! Mike left after doing a home inspection - Owner came home 3 hours later to find the upstairs master bath tub & master bath 2 sinks with full force water on. Could have created a flooding disaster let alone all the lost & costly water. He didn't check his job. And never apologized or had the courtesy to respond once he was notified. Poor. read more

I had the worst, most bizarre experience with Mike that I've ever had. He showed up confrontational, angry, condescending and stayed that way for the entire inspection. At one point, he looked angry enough to hit me. The man clearly has anger issues. I went on their website to find a phone number to complain, but apparently he owns the company. The inspection itself went fine but it was done on a Thursday afternoon and did not receive the actual report until Monday. Home inspections usually have a turnaround time around 24 hours. When I finally got a hold of them I was told they had a computer problem. If the customer is calling them non-stop to get the report and they have a "computer problem" shouldn't they have let us know anytime between Thursday and Monday that was the case. The only reason it became a problem was because that Monday was the last day of the inspection period and we would have lost our escrow deposit if we didn't make a decision on the house which we couldn't do because it wasn't sent. It was a bit on the unprofessional side in my opinion. I didn't give them 1 star because too many people on here just give 1 star and go on a rant. That's not what I'm trying to do because like I said the actual inspection itself was fine it was just getting the inspection report that was mishandled. read more
