I have been to about every nail salon in my area and beyond until I was referred to go to Garden nails and spa I can say that this is the last stop for me because I'm going to continue coming here for the rest of my nail days. I saw Megan and requested a design she has never done before and she recommended a new shape for my nails not only did she shave my nails perfectly and accommodated me to work I specifically wanted she killed the design. She was very sweet and took her time in a fast-paced manner I had acrylic but she recommended to do the gel they feel so much lighter and they look a lot more natural I really respect her for being patient with my needs she's probably the best nail tech I have been to and I've been getting my nails done for 15 years read more

This review is from a friend.....I went here for a crystal filling. I was sent to table the gentleman at table 7. I told him I did not want gel coloring. I wanted regular nail polish. The employee told me that no one uses it anymore and that I should get the gel color. I told him I didn't want it that I wanted to try regular nail polish. I picked out regular nail polish. They brought over the gel and regular polish, matching set , he used the gel on me and I did not realize it until the end. I told him that I specifically told him not to use the gel. He got angry and raised his voice to me. I told him I was paying for it but I am annoyed because I specifically told him not to use it. He continued to tell me, "how dare I say that to him, I wanted it." I was so upset I walked out. I realized I didn't tip and went back. I even tipped him on the full amount, despite all this. He charged me $40 for the crystal fill... the fill in is $25. He charged me $10 for the gel color that I did not want and a $5 mystery charge that I didn't even inquire about because I was afraid of being further publicly humiliated for ... paying for a service I specifically said I did not want. Do not waste your time or money here... the product is cheap and chips in days, they tag on mystery chargers whenever they feel like it, and are rude to their customers. Save your money. read more

New to the area I am trying many nail salons to see which one I will go to for my almost monthly gel pedicures. I went to Garden Nails since its very close to home. I called for an appointment and was able to go the same day. It was very quiet, only one other customer. Covid safety was good. Barrier used, tub liner, masks, my temperature checked. Pedicure was adequate, albeit a little rough with the cuticle nipping and the polish was put on in such a way that it wasn't great, ever so slightly imperfect . The color selection for gel pedicure was on the small side. If it matters to you, a male did my pedicure (I prefer a female to do my toes and rub my legs, etc). Price was reasonable. All in all it was ok, nothing spectacular. I wouldn't run here again but it wasn't horrible. read more

Used as a back up for my regular place. Less then a day after getting a gel manicure it chipped they had me come back to fix it and they rushed it even though no one else was in there. DO NOT go there!! I had the most awful nail experience at this place! It started that I was looking for a nail salon and after several stops at different places, this place had available people who could work on my pedicure and manicure. The girl was nice and sweet. But my pedicure wasn't coming out good. After the first coat I looked and the nail polish had something in it created little bumps and I decided to clean my nails and I told that I didn't like it. My nails was cleaned alright and cut very short. I was unhappy and said I would only pay a half of price which is $10. Because my nails weren't completely done. Than the real entertainment happened. The Asian lady (I suppose who was there in charge), came over started getting involve. And I told her the same thing in a very nice way. She started yelling and demanding me to pay full price. I said again I will pay a half, she did not want to listen. So I head out. And the door was locked!! She locked the door and trapped me inside with other 3 more customers inside. That was truly insane. And scary. Other workers start getting involved and yell and say things that in my opinion shouldn't have been said. Than the Asian lady threatened me that she will call the police and her husband to come... Really ridiculous! So I called 911 immediately! The Aberdeen police came took the report. I still refused to pay $20 dollars for nails that weren't done. I did give though $3 as a tip to the girl who cleaned my feet. She tried to return it to me while cop was there but I told her to keep it. She was nice of most of those people who worked there. The bottom line and question is: Who and Where does it heard of to lock people inside!? Again I offered to pay a half for half unfinished product. I wasn't running away. The place SUCK! They were so rude I had gotten my nails done here for two years bc it was the closest one to my house being an ongoing customer you'd think they would start showing some respect for you if at all! The owner did my nails, he was very unprofessional. I asked if they had any powder colors, he brought out a huge box and told me to take a look. He cut me 3 times, didn't bother saying sorry. He rushed through when one of his "regulars" came in. He managed to get glue all over my fingers, powder all around my nails, and some are uneven. When it was time to put the clear coat of gel he said he would be back in one minute while it's under the light. 5 minutes past and he still isn't back, I turn around and he is outside the door smoking. The first two times I had gotten my nails done here, they were perfect and lasted a long time without chipping. Afterwards, the polish would chip, my cuticles were never cut or pushed back to make my nails look nice and the service became awful. Angie started to become nasty when I asked if she could fix a nail because I didn't like the way that it looked. She said "I don't know what you want. I do good nails for you. I don't know what you want." I said "I wanted you to fix it for me" and she exhaled loudly before fixing it. Never went back. They also completely trashed my mom's nails. Very Rude Salon, do not go here!!! I went there for a manicure on a Monday evening at 6:30 pm (they are open on that day until 8pm) I waited less than 10 minutes, then my manicure begin. The woman performing the manicure sat down at the desk, grabbed my hand and began filing my nails. No hello, smile, or any kind of acknowledgement I was there whatsoever. Very awkward feeling and atmosphere. All was going well until the time came to dry my nails. While drying, I accidentally bumped my right thumb into the side of the dryer. I've been going here for a few months after not finding a decent place in the area, but I certainly won't be returning. Went for a gel manicure Sat. On Monday one entire nail chipped off. Not just chipped, the polish lifted and was easily peeled off in one whole piece. I go to get it fixed since I had just gotten them done two days ago. Wednesday comes and this happens to three more nails! I go back and they tell me to stop picking my nails and then charge me $10 to fix it. i went into the nail salon to get my nails done i was greet friendly than i was taken over to the pedicure chair. the chair was extremly high so i had to basicly jump into it than i noticed my feet weren't even touching the foot bath only my tippy toes not to mention they over flowed the bucket got my purse and shoes soaked and didnt even say sorry than they had to scream to the girl outside that a customer was there "charlie" didnt say hello to me nothing she went over to a draw and pulled out pedicure tools out of a bucket which was not sanitised at all. (im a licensed cosmetologist so i know what the proper sanitation is) no uv light disinfectent no barbacide nothing just a little bucket with tools in it! as a matter of fact i didnt see anything in the place being sanatised a pedicure just left before me and as the staff sat around not one person cleaned the pedicure chair! than during my pedicure the girl was so nasty she yelled at me b/c she couldnt get the toe seperator in between my toes forgot to lotion me down for the pedicure. than got mad b/c i didnt like the color she chose as she started to polish my nails i told her i didnt like it she said very nasy do u wanna pick your own? hello im in a pedicure chair! than when the serivce was done she got up an walked away didnt say ok your done didnt say a word just left! than i had to jump out of the chair again and i ruined the polish which looked horribly polished i left and got it fixed somewhere else! the whole store was filthy i don't think they ever cleaned or disinfected anything in the store not to mention there was no sign of there licenses!!! read more
