As the name suggests the theme is bicycle, it makes it cute and original. It stays a typical italian bar that you'd hardly find in the US, but it has something more than just being typical. Honestly I'd see that bar fitting just perfect in the East Village or Williamsburg, it would rock there! Don't miss it if you visit Turin! La Drogheria is fresh, hip, cute, sexy and delish. We were handed our menus on which the dishes of the day were written. (*photo) and also a small list of the seasonal products, a song of the day and a quote. Nice, inspirational and cute. It's cool that they take the effort to do so. Inside I saw the cocktail menu, it was nice and original. The place looks cool. The staff is friendly. What else do you want? To start off, the waitress put a bag on our table which contained fresh pieces of some very tastefull bread. The only thing I could think of that wasn't all that good was the chairs on the terrace. Small, a bit to low perhaps for my Dutch legs, but I'm not all that tall so can't imagine that I'm the only one who feels that way. But I'll take even smaller chairs as long as they'll serve me a Drogheria Plate !!

I wouldn't really recommend it for dinner, but for a nice simple and quick lunch, I would come here. Appetivo time is okay; but it can get loud and have a little bit of a weird crowd later on in the night...by weird I mean the Italian hipster crowd.

With no sign and pretty dark on the inside with some deep house quietly playing, the establishment has become famously known for their homebrew concoction that is the Tamango which can be had no where else. You'll find lots of young people here, atleast i did just before their night out. When you order the tamango, the bar tender disappears into the back and brings forth a plastic cup filled with this pink liquid. If you will be drinking in, you can request it to be transferred to a glass. It hits you, and it hits you hard. Imagine a cheap vodka that burns but this one burns 3 times as worse. Should you gulp; something I highly discourage, the burn will be felt all the way down your throat. I'm not a fan; I'm definitely a more smooth drink type person. My advice for drinking this is take sips of sip; yup that little at a time and seriously no more than one should EVER be needed. The rumour is it is over 60% alcohol but no one knows. Its all in the mystery. I wouldn't say that I'd go back; well to have a tamango, the bar was kinda cool but it was an interesting experience.
