We can't thank the two ladies enough that put up with all of our questions and indecisiveness for 3 hours. It was a byob workshop and you choose your project online. There are many different pieces you can create and customize- from the color to the stain to the words on the piece- it seriously is such a great experience. I highly recommend for a girls night out, date night or gift idea that you want to create yourself. Gaurentted a great time and definitely worth the price!!

It's a great place for bachelorettes or birthdays. First of all the space is amazing! It's in a new building. It's bright and homey. When you walk in, there's a reception area and small retail outlet. If you don't want to craft your own, you can purchase. There were some Halloween decor. There's also some jewelry and other things. Large doors open onto the street. A basement is also a workspace that would be great for a private party. It's a large L-shape room with room for working on crafts and space to set up food and drinks. The staff were friendly and really helpful with the wood crafts. The grand opening had food and drinks as well as small wood crafts you could do! I can't wait to go back with friends!

I had so much fun that this year I want to see if they have something else I can learn! The instructor was very patient with us and explained everything perfectly. I learned how to make screen prints using freezer paper or drawing fluid and screen filler (we did not do photo emulsion). I wish I brought more T-shirt's instead of doing a bunch on paper so learn from my mistake. This is a great experience and I highly recommend it!

These adult classes are awesome! I've tried sewing and ceramics, and both experiences were…read morefantastic. The teachers give you the right amount of guidance while still letting you explore on your own. The projects are super well-planned, and there's something for every skill level. Plus, the prices are fair, and I love that the classes are smaller--it's easier to get to know people and have more time with the instructor.

Karen Singer's slogan is "art you can touch" and it's true!!!…read moreKaren's tiles are unique gifts. I have given several to friends when the typical items just won't do. I have seen some of her large scale works which are well designed and transform a space. Karen recently started offering classes at her studio. I took a one night class to make an address tile. It was alot of fun, I learned alot and I made a fun and funky tile for the front of my house. I recommend Karen Singer Tileworks for gifts, classes and large scale projects.

The owner's passion for sewing was evident and she made everything special/customized with my daughter's name and theme. She stressed safety and education. The shop itself is extremely nice/organized. It was by far the best kid party I ever threw and I throw a party every year. I would not hesitate to book this place and I look forward to taking sewing classes at the salon with my daughter immediately. Ten stars, not five, ten. Thank you. MWJ, Esq.

I took two courses at PFW and they were well worth it. I didn't know anything about woodworking…read moreexcept for what I learned in shop class in 7th grade, basic stuff. Here, they show you how to use each tool, with safety in mind. You are explained the details about wood grain and how it warps, and you get thorough answers to questions you may have. If you are a woman considering taking a course here, you will not get that 'I don't belong here' feeling, you know what I'm talking about ladies. The two instructors are pleasant and professional. The only thing I felt a little iffy about was walking to my car in that neighborhood after class, because you have to park in the street or take public transit, I'm not familiar with the area and it seems a little shady at first glance. I'm from a different ghetto, maybe if I knew this neighborhood better it wouldn't be so bad. Look it up on street view, it's in a residential area, no restaurants in short walking distance to get lunch so bring your own, but the instructors usually have lunch for the students. Unless you're vegetarian, definitely bring your own or you'll be taking a chance. They also have a pot of coffee and a snack to munch on at breakfast.

After a series of evening courses, I'm now much more confident in using tools, thinking about setting up a small home woodshop, and I have a new, beautiful bookcase in my house. The class had a mix of younger and older people, men and women, folks with all sorts of backgrounds, income levels, city v. suburbs. The instructors, Mario and Alan, give a good balance between keeping the class going overall and individual attention while working on each phase of the project. I can attest that they are both very patient and personable. Both Alan and Mario love woodworking and you learn as much from talking through tools or a particular project you might be thinking about for your house as you do from the more formal elements of the course. If you're thinking about woodworking as a hobby or want to see how furniture really comes together, I highly recommend this course.

On the Friday before the first day of school, we were told our child had no spot. Several weeks later, we were offered a spot in a newly hired teacher's classroom. We should have walked away, but at that point, we had no other preschool options. We tried it, but it wasn't right for our child. We asked to switch classrooms for the next year. They said no, but could not produce a written policy to explain why. If all of the above doesn't concern you, know that the teachers are nice, but they are not consistently present as one would think. They are mostly there in the mornings. There are always different substitutes covering for when teachers have other duties and responsibilities, which makes it hard for children to have some sort of consistent learning experience. This is more of a daycare experience than a preschool experience.
