Immediately after, I quickly checked out a couple of other bridal shops (not many left in Auckland) in Newmarket and most dresses were $5,000 - and the staff were SO snobby. In hindsight I wasted my time going into Newmarket. The dress i bought from Colleen was good value for money, well made - and after a very long plane ride - I ironed out all the wrinkles very easily. And Colleen was right - especially as we didnt have a very conventional wedding - because I had.on a lovely bridal gown - i felt like, and looked like a bride - and we got some awesome wedding photos. Later, when I saw wedding photos of an acquaintance in a simple white dress it was hard to tell if she was a bride or not - so i was glad I had followed Colleens advice. I also had a cute little ivory fur jacket made up by Colleen to cover my fat arms haha. Thankyou Colleen the whole experience was very professional and stress free. You always did what you said. I just love this family run business. The husband and wife team are always friendly and are very…read moreefficient with getting the best clean done for our wardrobe. They have always done a good job with our children's uniforms and our own personal drycleaning needs. While quite a few other drycleaners do have alteration service, as do these guys, their point of difference is their suit hire business which I believe is the only one in Glen Eden. Once we forgot to collect an item for some time and once we remembered, there is was on their shelves for us to retrieve.
