No salons are open on Mondays in the town where I'm from. I was very pleased with my cut. She took her time with me and we shared conversations about healthy hair. She was very knowledgeable about hair and I am a black woman. I have never had a white woman to cut my hair before and let's just say I would go back there in a heart beat if I was closer. Two thumbs up for this Salon.

( Which is especially bad as I told her not to cut my hair short as I am losing hair and struggling to get it to grow..) it is supposed to be layered. The back is, the front isn't and there it a 3" difference in front and back layers. She didn't even cut the bangs or sides...just the length in the front. I was embarrassed to return to work and the reactions have been as bad as the cut itself...Tried to call to speak to the owner, but the stylist keeps answering and won't let me. Tried to email them, but apparently the email on the "contact us" no longer works. The studio has a great vibe and the people seem nice and it was busy. My stylist had a clear appointment book, so I should have never gone! My advice is go somewhere else. Sadly, it's so bad and short, I am wig shopping now.

Leaving a negative review is difficult for me - I tend to like to find the positive in every visit,…read morebut unfortunately, I won't get the chance to visit because Melissa essentially told me that I couldn't afford her, so should therefore find somewhere else to go. I contacted her to try to get my short cut cleaned up - I placed a phone call, she texted me back, asking what I wanted and told me she couldn't get me in until mid January. I told her I'd see what I could figure out - either go somewhere else or wait - but before I could, she told me she charges $65 and since my hair is short, I might not want to pay that. I pay it now, but that's besides the point. The reviews looked great. The pictures of this place and the work she does looks awesome, but I felt like that situation could have been handled differently. If she isn't actively seeking new clients, state that on your website or tell me, but don't insinuate that I can't afford you.
