My only recommendation is to get better chairs. I love that the stylist took his time, but after a while sitting in the chair my back started to hurt. Get better chairs and you'll be unstoppable!

I found Bangs & Lashes through an article by Mallorca.Me titled "10 Best Hair Salons in Palma de…read moreMallorca" so I figured I'd book a hair cut and semi-perm color during my week long visit in Palma. I booked the appointment on Instagram in english and was assigned to an english speaking stylist. I showed him the photo (attached) of what I wanted. Also including photos of where my hair was when I started and where it ended up. I just wanted an amplification of my natural reddish brown color with a bit of warmth / vibrance added. He mixed up the color and let it sit for almost an hour, when it was unwrapped it was clear it was way too dark. He cut it and blow dried it; then it was obvious it was almost black instead of a warm copper. He kept saying "wait until you're in the sun" or "just wash it a few times and it will get to the color you wanted". It's now been 7 weeks and I have washed it easily 30 times, it's not even half way to the color I wanted. Beyond that, they raised the rate because my hair was long, which is fine but not discussed until the end when I was paying. Then they said they couldn't take credit card because "they couldn't find the card machine" and referred me to an ATM around the corner. Lastly, I gave them a bit more and they kept the extra as tip without asking. It was clear on my face I didn't like it and I kept saying "this is a lot darker than we discussed" or "It doesn't look like the color I'd shown in the picture" but just kept getting shut down with advice on how to wash the color out. If you're going for just a cut, you should be fine but if you are considering color, I'd advise you go elsewhere.

The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, made even better by sweet dogs who greet you with warmth. Beyond the inviting environment, the hairdresser who gave me my new cut, Bento, is exceptional. Not only did he give me a fantastic cut that's easy to manage, but it was also a true pleasure having him work on my hair. I can't recommend this place highly enough, and I truly hope to be back!
