We were given tickets to see this & honestly, there was nothing X rated about it. Maybe PG-13 comedy isn't a catchy enough title, but it would be more accurate. The whole night basically consisted of various comedians asking audience members who looked 50+ if they had given oral sex, telling audience members that their wives were going to sleep with them if they participated in a skit and insinuating that the comedians like pot. The seating is cramped which isn't a big deal unless you're 2 inches in front of and next to very drunk women who MUST answer every rhetorical question about blowjobs by cackling and carrying on like a sloppy drunk. While I'm cool with it not being x rated (because ew) I found the non sexual jokes to be the funniest part of the performance. read more

Seen this show twice. The first time my friend had comped tickets from playing slots all day. This was when the show was only like in its second week of opening. Piff the Magic Dragon was supposed to be one of the comedians. He alone was probably worth the time to watch the show. Unfortunately he was involved with America's Got Talent at the time so he was a no show when I went. The second time was just last week. A few of my friends from out of town were staying at the Flamingo so out of convenience I met up with them there since the venue was already there. The show was pretty much the same. The husband and wife duo of John and Nancy were still your hosts. The one guy that plays guitar and makes up words to familiar songs was still there too. And then you have different rotating no name comedians. Usually those guys are not that funny. I gave these guys 3 stars because of how uncomfortable the seats are and these things never seem to start on time. Like I mentioned earlier it was pretty much the same show as the first time I saw it months ago. It's called X comedy but what they say and do here is pretty much what other people do at other comedy clubs which is all adult oriented anyway. Saw this show last Saturday- went in with no expectations. Had a lovely time. The husband/wife duo were hilarious- the juggler was... A juggler. He did make me laugh, and I certainly don't have those skills, but... Meh. Seats were super uncomfortable after a half hour, but if I had been drinking more, I wouldn't have noticed. Note: before the show they show a video, saying if you write a review, and message them on Facebook, you get a prize. But when I went to Facebook, I couldn't find their page. Went on April 23rd. Show was AWESOME! Will definitely go again! Had my friends and I laughing from beginning to end! The venue is at the Bugsy Cabaret located in the Flamingo, small but cozy,comfortable atmosphere. They have a bar window to order your drinks before the show starts. I hate leaving not great reviews..but... X Comedy? Like another reviewer on here said...definitely more like PG-13 comedy. Not risqué, not rude, not crude. A few 'dirty' jokes....but really nothing over the top or 'pushed the envelope'. You want 'rude-crude' go see 'Absinthe'..100x funnier. The show consisted of 3 acts the wife, another guy, and the husband. A few chuckles but nothing hilarious. The wife mentioned she was sick so I'll give her credit for sticking it out. The husband had a few jokes...but there really was nothing worth calling this 'X' comedy.....I think they the X has more to do with the producers of the show (X Burlesque, etc) rather than the content of the show. They had mentioned a few times that they only had three days left...and feel like they definitely 'mailed it in.' Would I pay $40 bucks again for it?...nope...but it was a night out with some friends...so no big deal. Bugsy's is a small venue so do not pay the $100 for the 'best' seats. This is surprisingly not as naughty as I thought it might be. The male and female hosts were kinda potty mouths, but the other comedians were not especially blue and were very funny. We were lucky enough to see Piff the Magic Dragon with Mr. Piffles (his dog) a week after he was a finalist on America's Got Talent show. Well worth it. The jokes weren't raunchy, it was "just enough" .....we weren't sure what to expect when we were seated in the front row (in terms of comedians making fun of us) but the audience participation was super fun and lighthearted. I didn't have high expectations for this show, and maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much. I didn't know any of the comedians (Todd Paul, James Bean, Nancy Ryan and John Bizarre), but they did a good job relating to and reading the audience. Like other reviewers stated, the show wasn't as X-rated as I was expecting, especially in this city, but there were plenty of jokes about sex. The theatre was pretty small and the usher did a good job cramming us all towards the stage, so everyone seemed to have a good view of the comedians. The jokes ranged from subjects like marriage to diets to magic shows on the Strip; it seemed lie there was something everyone could relate to in the audience and plenty of laughs. I am traveling down the west coast and have been to several comedy shows along the way. Xcomedy left them all dead in the water. If you want comedy that makes your cheeks sore and brings tears to your eyes from laughter then you must go. Saw this show last nite. It is x rated but very very funny. The host lady was amazing at working the audience. She's a real talent. The other 3 comedians were equally funny some more x-rated than others. I've been to Brad Garretts show 3 times because I love it so much and this show was equally as funny for less money. X Comedy... sucks! We went to this dump to see Piff the Magic Dragon only to find out it wasn't there! Not sure how that works, advertise something that isn't even there, bait and switch to be sure. We had to sit through the most awful comedy amateur hacks, in a cramped, smelly room. Afterward, we tried to speak with a manager to get our money back and were told no one was there who could help us! If you are considering going to X Comedy, don't! We love the local comedy scene Las Vegas has many great comedy shows and clubs to choose from, but X Comedy is just terrible. The room is terrible, the comics are not that great, and we wanted to see Piff the Dragon from Americas Got Talent but he's not gonna be there for months they say because he will be on tour with AGT! SO STOP advertising that he is in the show, thats ridiculous!! We asked for our money back but no one would help us they insisted that the street performer that is filling in for Piff was great.....uh we didn't think so! He was ok if you were watching someone on the street in San Francisco as you're walking by, but NOT as a headliner for a comedy show. Someone should take Piff off of the advertising Im sure AGT would not be please to know that this show is using false advertising to sell tickets!!
