I was seated immediately at about 7 pm and despite limited German (können Sie ein bisschen langsam sprechen bitte - please speak a bit slower) managed to order myself a big beer and a huge plate of carbonara. It was VERY good, although a little on the salty side for British tastes. The whole meal, friendly staff, great atmosphere with plenty of German visitors, only cost 11 Euros with a generous tip. wir waren gestern zu viert da, mit einem groupon.gutschein…read more wir wurden sofort sehr herzlich von der italienischen chefin und der männlichen bedienung begrüßt, kein gefühl von zweiter-klasse-kunde, wie in manchen etablissements, wenn man mit einem gutschein kommt. das blieb auch den abend über so: die chefin bediente zum großteil selbst und hatte immer einen flotten spruch oder ein paar persönliche worte auf den lippen. zum essen: man hatte das groupon-menü extra auf separate karten gedruckt und wirkte gut vorbereitet. während die tomatensuppe gut, aber nicht aufregend war, waren der salat, das lachs-carpaccio, die vegetarische vorspeisenplatte, der lachs und das tiramisu ausgesprochen lecker und auf gehobenem niveau. reichlich frisches ciabata-brot wurde auch dazu serviert. das ambiente des ladens ist allerdings ein understatement für die qualität der küche: er wirkt zunächst eher wie ein italienischer schnellimbiss (alles sauber und neu) und bietet auch nur platz für ca. 20 leute. was uns noch auffiel ist, dass außer uns und 2 weiteren groupon-kunden alle gäste italiener waren, wa ja generell ein gutes zeichen ist. wir kommen bestimmt wieder, wenn wir in der nähe sind!
