Luckily they welcomed my questions and answered all of them for me. The doctor explained what each medication does, the possible side effects and contraindications to taking each medicine. They reviewed a diet plan that's really been effective and even gave me an easy exercise plan. I had a few major back surgeries that makes doing most exercises impossible. They understood this and we went over in detail what I can and can't do. Riding a bike and walking is easy for me so they have me on a bike riding and walking program. I went to see Dr. Camille Semple-Daly in March of 2014 about menopause and she ran about 3k dollars…read moreof bloodwork on me and performed the most thorough investigation on me I had ever undergone by a doctor. She realized I had no testosterone in me and I started crying in her office because she said it was a wonder I was alive. She immediately put me on bio-identical hormone replacement therapy creams, two of them, and progesterone capsules. She also found out I was anemic, which I never knew. She also put me on a slow increase of up to 5k I.U.'s of vit. D3 and 1000 mcg of B12 and an iron supplement. This change in my medications helped me tremendously.
