Besides fresh fruit, vegetables, halal meats, dairy, and the aforementioned grains and legumes, the store has a pretty large section set aside for tobacco and hookah accessories. I'm pretty sure this is the only market in town where you could buy a water pipe, tahini, lavash, and Tobasco sauce all under the same roof.

Mix Markt offers all kinds of imported goods not available at German chain grocers: Armenian cognac, Polish, Czech, and Russian beers, kvas, kosichka / chechil cheese, tvorog (for making syrniki), caviar, frozen pelmeni, specialty meats and produce... the list goes on. Their prices are also very competitive - almost equivalent to the prices I remember when I visited Russia.
