It did not work on my television despite that I was told it would be. It was a soft soap sales practice and I won't fall for this ever again. It's a bit of karma that they now need funds so badly that they are screaming and whining to anyone who will listen. You had your chance to do the right thing, now you have to get creative and work for your fundraising just like other organizations. It's about time people put in some effort instead of sitting around and cashing checks while just sipping coffee at their desks all day. Good luck, PBS!

I just bought a house in Alger Heights and discovered this radio station on the dial on my kitchen…read moreradio while doing some painting. The dial hasn't moved since. Soon my car was also tuned to this station, NOW I stream WYCE even while here in Seattle. I just can't get enough of it! My favorite thing - I have to keep a post-it handy so I can write down the names of new bands and recording artists that I discover every day. I love that WYCE is volunteer-driven and connected to a consortium that includes local theatre and tv too. How cool is that. I am a huge KEXP fan (Seattle) but WYCE is my new fave - sorry Seattle - this small-midwestern-city station has a big-town beat and an even BIGGER heart.

I called them around Christmas since I hadn't heard, they said the tickets weren't available yet. I called on Jan. 2, and they said they didn't have them. The gal said "well we had to give ours back, too!" So apparently SOME people who won tickets got them?... but I did not. Nothing. I was offered free tickets to another show that WOOD was involved with, so I took KISS - and got nosebleed seat tickets. Sure, free, but they sucked. The whole BS story of the promoter not giving them the tickets when the gal also said they had to give theirs back? Not impressed, felt like someone more important than me got to see Seger in the seats I had won. Don't bet on it happening, if you win tickets from them.

Went to pick them up... they had given them away to someone else. They supplemented Row Q which were still pretty good - but sure weren't front row and meet/greet. Not impressed with their handling of a promo that I'm sure they milked for all it was worth with their fan base.
