I found a nice looking flat on Spareroom, which had a live out landlord. I contacted the woman and we scheduled a viewing. I also explained that I was coming all the way from London. On the phone the woman told me that the rent was 750 for couples as opposed to 690, which was not mentioned in the advert. At the time I found this rather strange, but did not say anything. During my journey to Manchester, I received a text asking me to confirm the appointment with WSC Estates. I could not believe it. There was no indication in the advert, that the property was let by an agency. I was very disappointed by their lack of transparency, felt cheated, and did not feel comfortable letting from them. The whole trip was a waste of time. I do not have a problem letting from an agency, but I will not consider letting a property WSC in the future. read more

I had secured property with deposit. Would I still lost and we tried again. I i lost that one too. The wsc estates apologized and said I would have my deposit back. 3 weeks later after many chases through email and phone it is still not back! I have reported them to Manchester trading standards and consumers direct. I will involve lawyer soon. Fuck you wsc estates! read more
