On my 6K+ sq ft home, I had them replace the entire roof, fix an on-going issue with a chimney, replace four areas of siding on the second floor (and correct flashing issues found), replace all gutters and down spouts with larger, and install stainless gutter guards. As far as price, I paid about what the other companies quoted me for just the roof replacement to install an inferior roof system, WITHOUT ALL THE OTHER WORK! They performed OUTSTANDING WORK from start to finish. Note: All roofing companies can experience weather delays (unless you want your roof off during a rain storm), so establish a direct line of communication with them and they will keep you informed as to when they will be there. For most of us, replacing a roof is a rare occurrence, and let's face it, there are many fly-by-night roofing contractors out there. After getting four estimates, Coastal was the best price, including the cost of the upgraded stainless nails and new type underlayment, as well as replacement cost for plywood if needed. While price is certainly a consideration, feeling comfortable with the contractor doing the installation is equally important. Zane certainly put me at ease during the selection process, and maintained communication with me through the installation and final inspection. Customer service to the max! I feel the difference is that Coastal Roofing specializes in roofing and siding, not roofing and a bunch of other services.
