I have a company car so they required me to use this shop. I booked and appointment (wouldn't come…read moreto me) at 1 PM in a Friday for a windshield replacement. They told me it would be 3-4 hrs for calibration. I was planning on waiting but an hour into it, they hadn't moved my car so I sat there for about 2-1/2 hrs and called someone to pick me up. I tried to call them at 4:30 for a status update. SAFELITE DOES NOT PROVIDE A LOCAL NUMBER TO THEIR SHOP ONLY AN AI GENERATED PHONE TREE. So I have someone drive me over there in the pouring rain at 4:45 only to be told my vehicle wasn't ready. I would've been fine with that if someone would've called me or I had a number to call for an update. The tech offered to stay late but I told him it would be fine tomorrow. They did call me the next day. The quality of the repair was good and the staff was nice. However, I received countless texts and calls reminding me of my appointment to the point of annoyance. Bit, when I tried to reach them I couldn't speak to a live person for a simple update on the repair status. I seriously doubt I'll ever use them again if I have a choice

Your last-minute decision has caused me significant inconvenience and stress, and I find it hard to believe that there was no way to notify me sooner. Customer service should be about reliability and respect, and Safelite failed on both counts in this situation. I expect a clear explanation of why this happened and what steps you are taking to prevent such unprofessional behavior in the future.
