I had an unpleasant experience with Nivi, the owner of Lash Rehab. I went for a volume fill and…read moreduring the session, was experiencing stinging from the glue. I have had lash extensions continuously for five years applied at many salons, but my eyes have never watered so badly.
Two weeks after this fill, I experienced extreme itchiness and discomfort. When it came time to getting my next fill, I sought out another lash specialist from a different salon. When she inspected my lashes three weeks after, she said that the previous fill had been done so poorly that it had caused damage to my real lashes, so the best thing to do was to remove all the lashes and glue completely, then allow a week to heal before purchasing an entirely new full set. As she removed the lashes, she took pictures so I could see the damage for myself and it was only then I could see just what a poor job Nivi from Lash Rehab had done.
Following the appointment, I contacted Nivi. She offered to give me a complimentary fill, but after the poor experience I had with her at Lash Rehab, I did not feel confident returning to her.
Even though I had to pay for the removal and it will cost a great deal more to get a new full set, I only asked that she refund me the cost of my fill appointment. She refused on the basis that I hadn't requested it within three days of my fill with her, but unfortunately, I did not know until later what a poor job she had done and that it had caused damage.
I wouldn't recommend Nivi or Lash Rehab. Not only did she provide an inadequate service that caused pain and damage, but she did not make amends for her error.
