Decorated for Christmas.

Interestingly, Worth Avenue, before it became a high end shopping destination, was named Jungle Road. Jungle Road was part swamp where alligators, snakes and water foul called home. Sewing machine heir, Paris Singer, and architect Addison Mizner where the developers. Whether shopping or sight seeing, Worth Avenue is a fun area to browse and explore. The architecture mix, unique shops, fountains, tucked away courtyards, beautiful indigenous plants, and wrought iron are a few reasons to stroll Worth Avenue. You'll find an eclectic mix of shops including: Lilly Pulitzer Louis Vuitton Gucci Pollack Fine Art Dea Italian Linens Kassatly (Worth Avenues oldest shop) J. McLaughlin Saks Fifth Avenue Hamilton Jewelers Raptis Rare Books

This is literally the rodeo drive of Florida but SO much better and bigger than the version in Beverly Hills and FAR less pretentious. For one this is literally steps away from magnificently turquoise beaches, with lots of shops and hidden gems throughout. Look for beautiful coral architecture, fountains and flowers. I lived in LA for 7 years and this blows its Beverly hills counterpart far out of the water. Plus it's super clean and safe.

Worth Ave. a destination stop for anyone visiting Palm Beach. The avenue is 4 blocks long and runs from A1A - Ocean Blvd to Lake Worth Ave. Both sides of the street are lined with high end luxury retail stores and restaurants. Here you will find Palm Beach society at it's finest. There's great people watching, great shopping and great restaurants. Limos and Bentleys line street with lots of pink and yellow cashmere walking around. Tiffanys, Neiman Marcus, Bottega Veneta, Channel, just to name a few. Great restaurants here too. Taboo was always a Kennedy hangout, Bice and one of my favorites for a special occasion dinner Renatos. The street is beautifully lined with Palm trees and classic architecture. It's old-world European beauty is something not to be missed. So you wonder why it's not 5 star? On any given day, this should be a 5-star review, but I had to knock off a star, because of certain things I witnessed. 1. I must have missed the memo, but on Worth Ave. Covid does not exist! No one was wearing a mask. Young, old, no one. 2. Stores- most company owned stores had mask rules, except Starbucks. I witnessed groups of people walking in and out of the coffee house without masks. Tiffanys, Tourneau and most Corporate stores, employees had masks on. Some of the others - No. I walked past a jeweler, where no one in the store, shoppers or employees had masks. Peoples choice to mask up or not is theirs. But it was quite obvious on this street in January no one cared. There were plenty of signed but they were ignored. If you're visiting Palm Beach this winter season and you believe in masking up...proceed with caution because the streets are crowded.

Worth Avenue is the four block luxury destination of the uber-wealthy ending at the Atlantic Ocean. Even if you aren't dripping in diamonds or carrying a Birkin Bag you are still free to window shop. Worth Avenue was born from the Addison Mizner creation of the super exclusive Everglades Club in 1918. It attracted merchants to move into the area looking to escape the higher rent at the Beaux Arts Building. Addison named it Worth Avenue to evoke a connection to Lake Worth where Henry Flagler had built the Royal Poinciana Hotel. The first two shopping streets created were Via Mizner and Via Parigi, named for developers Addison Mizner and Paris Singer. The Everglades Club would host fashion show lunches that launched the careers of fashion designers like Valentino and Givenchy, Soon it became known as the upscale place to shop by the 1920's. The association the Merchants of Worth was formed in 1938 to set guidelines for how stores should look. It incorporated in 1961. Today you can shop at many end end shops like Chanel, Escada, Jimmy Choo, Lily Pulitzer, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, and Tiffany and Co. just to name a few. I love to explore the different via's which means paths. My favorite is Via Mizner. Each via has fountains, balconies, courtyards, restaurants, shops, and apartments. There are Mediterranean Revival architectural delights around every corner. If you would like to learn about the secrets and little known facts of Worth Avenue a historical walking tour is led by Mr. Rick Rose every Wednesday from December 2018 thru April 2019. You meet at the fountain in front of Tiffany's at 11 AM. The cost is $10 and you just show up, no reservations are necessary.

What's not to love about Worth Ave?! Being Florida's most expensive zip code I could get lost in a dream turned into reality. Window shopping is a true treat. Windows display mannequins draped in elegant rich materials, shoes of the highest quality, designer handbags, jewelry so sparkly you'd think you were looking directly at the sun. But wait, it's not just the best window shopping you also get to feast your eyes upon beautiful cars you may not even have known existed as only the finest shop Worth Ave. This street is dripping with elegance and oozing with poise. You can find all sorts of hidden treasures tucked away in side streets and alley ways. Restaurants can also be found on Worth. And don't forget all of the sensational flowers, plants and vines native to Florida intertwining with building and seating. This is as good as it gets!

This is a beautiful spot that's a must visit if you are here in Palm Beach or in nearby West Palm. Worth Avenue is similar to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, but next to the beautiful ocean. You have a plethora of high end shops here like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Tiffany and many others. I love the architecture, it makes me feel like I'm back in Southern California. Even if you aren't into high end shopping, it's still worth a browse. We have been here a couple of times on Sunday, most of the stores are closed that day, but it's still fun to window shop. I love coming up here at Christmas time to see all of the beautiful decorations. Be sure to check out the giant tree by Chanel and the decorations in the courtyard behind Louis Vuitton. We usually park on a side street, parking is free for up to 2 hours. That should be plenty of time for a quick visit to this luxe street.

Every time I'm in Palm Beach I want to walk Worth Avenue. It is truly worth the time to see the best of upscale shopping. Worth Avenue is less touristy and more relaxed than Rodeo Drive. I enjoy having a coffee and seeing the best of fashion.

Love this area for photography!!! I've done several shoots down in this area. Perfect for bridal portraits, anything high fashion, lifestyle content. The architecture is stunning and has a unique look. Tons and tons of greenery everywhere as well. Especially when the bougainvillea is in bloom, SO PRETTY.

I love going to Worth Ave. It's ritsy and there are so many shops and pleases to stop in. It is however really expensive, as in "break the bank" expensive. But if you just want to take in the atmosphere I cannot think of anywhere better. And there are a few really cool places that have affordable items. Look for Sequin in particular. There are also some great eateries. And it's just visually lovely. On a day that's warm and not to hot, it's the perfect place to stop and spend some quality time.

When you've just raced for 31 miles at the annual JW Corbett 50k in Depuis Reserve there is nothing like taking a dip in the Atlantic at this pristine beach. Free parking on Worth for 2 hours. We were here for 35 minutes and left feeling refreshed and revived.

Probably the most extravagant strip of shopping you'll ever see in your life, unless you have the kind of Millions required to join the jet setting crowd and purchase a nearby winter home for $8-10M or so. A worthwhile stroll to see how the other half (of the 1%ers) live, and take advantage of the beautiful surroundings.

In the early 1920s, The Everglades Club, developed by Paris Singer and Addison Mizner and designed to serve as a veterans' hospital, began staging weekly luncheon fashion shows. Traffic on Worth Avenue came to a virtual standstill as designers such as Elizabeth Arden, Sarah Fredericks, Bonwit Teller and Saks took turns outfitting the with the latest fashions from Paris and New York. Worth Avenue now boasts more than 200 shops, offering everything from World-class designer jewelry, clothing and shoes, to internationally acclaimed paintings, home furnishings, antiques... and of course, service that is synonymous with Palm Beach!

All I did was unfold a T-shirt, and the associate immediately confronted me and yelled. His tone and attitude were so aggressive that I genuinely felt harassed. Feeling harassed, I reported the situation to the manager. I went to the manager expecting at least basic professionalism, but the situation somehow got worse. He didn't apologize, didn't take responsibility, and instead whispered something to the associate before telling me the employee was autistic as if that excused everything and as if my experience didn't matter at all. It felt dismissive and disrespectful. Also, when I reacted with shock because who expects to be yelled at for looking at a shirt at a clothing store? the autistic associate even insinuated I was stupid simply because I was dumbfounded by how he was speaking to me. That was completely unacceptable. The manager was present at this point Let me be absolutely clear: The associate's behavior was the problem. His actions toward me were unacceptable and made me feel harassed, regardless of any diagnosis. That is why I went to the manager in the first place. What concerns me most is the manager's failure to address the inappropriate behavior or take any corrective action. Management has a duty to maintain a safe and respectful environment for customers and to ensure staff are properly trained and supervised. Dismissing my complaint and offering no resolution reflects a lack of proper oversight and raises serious questions about the store's adherence to basic standards of customer protection and professional conduct.

I have definitely stopped to eat at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, Gelato Grotto, and Five Guys before. And the Nicklaus Children's Urgent Care is awesome. Parking is mostly ok, simply because nothing is ever too crowded. The free parking garage behind the urgent care is easy to use and pretty empty. However, the 3 big box stores I mentioned above are nowhere near each other, so I drive from store to store. The Plaza is unfriendly to foot traffic, has zero common public spaces, and is poorly laid out with terrible signage. The layout is truly beyond frustrating: no clear entrances or exits, strange parking layouts that block access to the few buildings that are connected to the inner strip, several fake exits that dump into rental complexes instead of roads. I attended a holiday event recently at Legacy Place. It sounded fun in theory, but I couldn't fathom where it would take place, given the lack of common public space. The event was one of the worst I have ever attended. My children and I walked into the area, took a look around, and turned right around to leave; it was that bad! They blocked off part of a parking lot next to Pet Smart. A woman in a sparkly leotard was 'performing' in suspended aerial silks, except she fumbled her movements while we watched and then just moved very slowly from pose to pose, very awkwardly. Meanwhile, adults dressed up in Christmas costumes stood in the parking lot and watched. There was no holiday decor, no games or crafts for kids, no food or drink samples, just a lot of empty blacktop and unenthusiastic performers in a depressing setting. It is sad to see all the empty stores here now. I hope they can find a way to rejuvenate this space for the better (ala CityPlace to Rosemary Square!), increase signage to help navigation, dedicate part of the plaza to public space and programming, create appealing walking paths, and bring in non-profits and artists to use empty spaces and bring appeal to these spaces while waiting for long term rentals.
