The new FAS Employment Services Office promised to deliver a more streamlined experience for job seekers and those interested in retraining or improving their CVs through any number of courses offered through the organisation. To a point that promise has been met. The many job listings neatly displayed in the large windows are refreshed regularly, while inside the office's large bank of FAS computer terminals provide direct links to the volumes of training programmes and job opportunities. The sign-in desk and waiting areas are spacious and well staffed, however visitors should arrive as early as possible in the day to guarantee a meeting with one of the in-house advisers. There's also free printing and copy services for those registered at the location.

There are two professionals - one in charge of regular, full-time work and the other oversees temporary / contract opportunities. The office is attractive and located right in the City Center - steps away from Grafton Street; so, you can shop after you've been tested on your typing and Microsoft application skills ... ;) The job could be yours -- with a little help from this team!

I met with one of their consultants and was interviewed in a very professional and thorough manner. The lady I met with provided me with plenty of information about the market and the company seemed to have lots of good connections. I'm delighted to say that I found my ideal job in Digital marketing and I'm very grateful for the introduction, and advice the people group provided me with throughout the interview process. I have recommended the company to a number of friends and colleagues.

Dermot was very easy to talk to and he followed up with me at each stage of the process. I found that Dermot listened to the specific area and industry I was looking to get into and did not contact me with every available opportunity out there, unlike many other recruitment companies. I felt as though Abrivia Recruitment was interested in my career and not just lookng to fill a position.

Logiskills specialises in supply chain stuff (warehousing and freight management, etc) but they also have an arm called Northgate Recruitment which handles office and admin work. I explained what I was looking for and within a couple of days I was off to my first temping job. After a month or so I was in touch with their staff again (who were always on the ball, polite and professional) to let them know I was ready to look for something more permanent. Within 3 weeks they had successfully managed to help me secure a long term public sector contract. Needless to say I haven't looked back. I would highly recommend this Dublin agency to anyone looking for a great overall customer experience. I have recommended to friends who have also have similar experiences.
I went for an interview with Orange Recruitment last summer…read more I really liked that they took the time to interview me, when all I was applying for was a random temp job, which hadn't even been advertised. Basically, I was asking to be placed on their lengthening list of standby temporary staff, that offices could call upon should they need a receptionist or administrator in a hurry. Unfortunately, so was the rest of the people in DUblin who have recently found themselves out of work, at a time when offices can't even afford to pay those high prices charged for a temp. Needless to say, I never got any work through them, but the staff here were pleasant enough and always replied promptly to my emails. Poor things, with the lack of jobs out there for anyone, that's probably all they do every day, reply to desperate emails from job seekers to tell them THERE"S NOTHING!!!
