Stantonbury School it is a total different school from what I have been told or read. It is very easy to spot all the improvements from outside . Moreover they take very seriously and work hard to tackle Bullyind and Implement a positive and good environment for learning so all the Students feel safe! They are very prompt in getting back in touch with you as a parent! All my gratitude and respect for Mr. B Wilson, Amanda Mckenzie, Nicola, Iacano, Mr. G Morris

I have never been a fan of uniforms so this was a good thing. The school is over subscribed and many are trying to get into this school. You can attend if you are in catchment or you can apply as an arts student, go for an interview and you may get lucky! We live within catchment but I would have chosen this school as a preference anyway. My kids did really well here all three attending 6th form and going on to further education. I like the teaching style where young people are encouraged to be themselves and take an active part in their learning process. There is also a large music centre on site where kids take their musical instrument lessons. Music plays a large part of the campus life. There is also a resident rock school which runs weekly sessions and also a 'three days of rock' event during holidays. The campus is made up of the school, leisure centre and shops. This is a large campus! A few quotes from their ofsted report. The school has a strong supportive ethos, valuing each student and member of staff equally. Stantonbury Campus enables students to make good progress in a caring, supportive environment ...students' achievements are well above those in schools with similar intakes

It's better than any public sports centres I have been to in London: clean changing/shower rooms with lockers, dance studio with full length mirror (actually, not sure if I actually like seeing my face turning red in real time), lovely exercise mats - and a music system that actually works! It's a bit difficult to find on the first visit as it's a concrete block hidden between the main building and the Westway flyover. Now that I know the way, I'll definitely return, perhaps not just for Rikki's class.

This sports centre has just opened so it's brand spanking, shiny, sparkly new. I come here on…read moreTuesdays for begininers parkour coaching. I used to have to schelp to Kensal but this is now much more convenient for me as it's a stroll from Royal Oak station. When going there for the first time take note that the entrance is actually on the side past the garage, not the main road. The sports hall is enormous and the parkour class shares the space with a basketball class but there's no clash and the two can occur concurrently with few problems. The floor is great (new), slightly squishy and with lots of markings for various sports, and the equipment is all super new which means it's very satifying to play with. The class itself is really good. An excellent workout in the warm up and warm down and a good level of challenging but achievable exercises working on various skills like congs, tic-tacs and sideways monkeys. i.e. jumping on, around or over stuff. It's really hard work but good fun and the instructors are very good. The only down side to the centre is that it's so new they have yet to put in vending machines so you can't get any drinks or snacks.
