Might want to get in there earlier in the day if you want a larger variety in the meat section as it seems to shift fairly quickly, Same goes for the fresh bread/baguettes they have in the back near the deli (the ones on the clear cupboard) but the bread in those is amazing and the 6 pack bags of turkish rolls are fantastic and a decent price for a quality!. There is a ton of variety if you are a fan of gluten free or alternative foods/health options as they seems to have more of that than other stuff., Sadly their deli is a bit lacking but that's mainly because it isn't as big as most supermarkets but they will gladly slice meats for you fresh as long as you get there before 7pm..as the sign says they use cleaning fluid on it around that time and can't use it afterwards.

It's relatively small, but it's really convenient if you live in the Yarraville / Seddon area, because you can avoid Footscray Coles which is a fairly rotten experience. The two good things about it are: 1. One of the check out girls is deaf and uses sign language but has pointing down to a fine art. It's pretty awesome to see her in action. 2. They have a great range of Melinda's gluten free goodies.

Bargain Depot is certainly an aptly named clearance outlet. Set up in the manner of Aldi stores,…read morethe wares are displayed in the boxes in which they were brought in, and left out in open topped isles. However, unlike Aldi, most of the brands are clearly recognisable as the same stocked at any other supermarket. For the most part everything is priced significantly lower than your standard supermarket, or about the same as if all the goods were on special all the time. For example, a solitary can of Red Bull will only set you back $1.50 and a big bag of chips comes in around the $2 mark. However, I'd recommend a close inspection of expiry and use by dates, as it has a whiff of NQR about it, given the whole "clearance" element. The stock extends beyond food goods, with most of the stuff you'd find at your local supermarket and/or discount centre covered in the various sections. Among the more exciting discoveries was a huge range of piñatas for $18 a pop at the back of the store, including one that's a mermaid. Pretty cool, hey?
