This vibrant convenience store knows how to cook up Hunt's pizza better than any i've ever had. We generally pick up a few slices and a cold beer before continuing on to our nearby special get-away spot, or if we're really hungry, we call ahead to order an entire pizza when we're about 15 minutes away. Woody's has a wide variety of fried deli food, and you don't come out smelling like old grease. The long aisle of good quality, fresh candy has an extensive variety of everything imaginable. We've even stocked up on the latest flavors of M&Ms before they become available in larger markets. The souvenirs include the typical, but also many items unique enough to make decent gifts. Where else can you find a teddy bear wearing a Noxapater, Miss., sweater? The policeman who keeps watch over the place in the wee hours and the folks who keep the coffee hot and the pizza cooking are friendly hometown people. It's no wonder this store is hopping at all hours of the day or night. We wouldn't miss a chance to stop at Woody's.

Enough seating for two or more people. Service 3 Stars - we arrived around 1:30 to avoid the lunch rush and both cashiers were counting their till so we had to wait before we can ordered. We ordered two lunch items. Meal: 3.5 Stars Philly Steak and Cheese Poyboy w a drink. So, the cheesesteak comes as a Panni sandwich, flatten down which is odd. It looked like it was ran over with an Asphalt roller. I don't know if my employee requested that way or not. I wish I took a picture but he was all ready devouring it. Burger : 3.5 Stars w fries and drink. I had a burger with a fried egg on it. It was good and juicy but the fries were ok. Some of the fries were partly cooked in the center. As I was eating my meal, I noticed on receipt I ordered two drinks which I was charge but when I paid for the items, the cashier charge me an extra drink on a separate ticket because she thought she didn't think she charge me on the original order. It took staff members to fix the issue and I was refunded for one drink. So make sure the cashier repeat what you ordered. Fortunately it wasn't too busy and they were able to handle the issue immediately.

And they actually had the window solution and paper towels - not just water or watered down solution like most places do. The squeegee worked well too. That was enough for me, but the clean store and bathrooms were a nice bonus as well. As far as the customer service (all three prior reviews complained about this), I didn't have a problem with the employees - they were polite to me. (sorry for the crappy, from-a-distance-photo-of-photo below. Best I could do without turning around, but it includes the Covid-19 hours).

I asked the girl what the alcohol hours would be, and she said they sell until twelve. I grabbed a single, and she stood their shaking her head and saying she couldn't sell to be bc by the time she rung it up, it would be after twelve. If she'd just have rung it up instead of telling me "no" she would have time. The manager was at the door waiting with the keys. I've worked plenty of customer service, and the philosophy is usually "we work the whole shift!" We don't stand at the door with the keys waiting to lock down. I usually stop there a couple times a week to fill up with gas ($50+,) but their RUDE workers have cost them all of my business. I'll go elsewhere, where they don't try to kick me out.
