I have had issues with this Generac generator ever since the install…read more The first review was because the only repair tech. had family issues and they could not even give me a date as to when someone might show up to help repair the unit. I called a company that Generac listed as a better company and that is really a business in the state and not just claiming to be local. Still having issues and no help the other company came out andf after getting a bill for what was supposed to be a warranty repair. I paid for a 10 year extended warranty that covers parts labor and travel I received a invoice for 200 dollars which included 1.5 hours of travel. After finally getting Generac involved again the company advised that the reason it was not covered under the warranty is because this issue should have been caught and fixed in the initial installation. I once again am going to have to deal with a system that is not working properly because A Plus not only screwed up the install they could not get out here to fix their problem. Now I have to go after them for costing me to bring out someone to fix their screw up.

Then they tried to sell me a service plan and quoted me on a whole new system. Oh yeah, THEY DID NOT FIX ANYTHING. They charged me $500 for a part that was supposedly bad, then they wanted to charge me $1500 to "braze on the new part, drain and refill the system". Three guys were there for 3 hours, AND THEY DID NOT FIX ANYTHING. So I said no and wanted a second opinion. The new service guy (just one) fixed it in less than a hour and charged $250. They are incompetent or scam artists, or both. Use at your own risk, or wallet size.
