I have been getting acupuncture and herbal medicine from Dr Wong's for the past 3/4 years. She is incredibly knowledgeable and I know each time I have a flare up with my acne or eczema it will basically be gone within 6 weeks (with acne scars on the way to being healed included). The best bet is to ask the staff in store as they are very knowledgeable. The lady who I spoke to (who I think may own the business) was more than helpful with my queries and let me ponder for ages before making up my mind. Wong's Acupuncture Clinic looks really, really ropey from the outside. The window is just plastered with adverts promising to cure you of all sorts of ills - from acne and arthritis to impotence and infertility. I'm not sure how many of these ailments they're claiming can be healed through acupuncture, and how much requires their other treatments such as herbal medicine. I am not sure how much faith I have in Chinese medicines, to be honest, and I can't report back on the acupuncture services here - but one of my friends swears by the efficacy of some Chinese herbal treatment she got from Wong's to treat her eczema. I remain sceptical, but I can't argue with the fact her skin has definitely cleared up quite significantly, and bothers her a lot less - so I'll leave others to make up their own minds! read more

I read a review stating it'd helped someone's friend's skin, so I thought I would try this clinic. My 4 year old daughter has suffered with terrible eczema for 3 years, I've tried all sorts - cutting out dairy, wheat and egg which did improve the skin as I greatly reduced the amount of steroid cream I had to use on her skin - which over many years usage - had really thinned her skin. When my daughter took the remedy ( a herbal tea already sweetened so reasonably ok tasting) , it seemed to improve her skin almost over night - the nightly incessant itching stopped from the very first night, after a week I reintroduced wheat and this had no adverse effect on her skin..
