This place is a lot of fun! A great little intimate experience for my partner and I to enjoy some solid (and educational!) fun together. We truly walked about the place like kids and had a blast. The layout is rather confusing so it's important to follow the arrows and signs. You will get flipped around rather quickly if you do not pay attention. It was a little expensive for the tickets (paid around $90 for two) with the attractions included. We ended up not doing all of the attractions available, but did do the VR experience with the monster truck type simulator. It wasn't a great experience for me, but it was ok. My partner seemed to enjoy it, but it just wasn't a great quality VR and game. The worker at the front desk was very kind and helpful. They offered a lot of good information about the facility prior to our entry. I can't remember their name, but I enjoyed the positive interaction. Bathrooms were clean from what I saw, BUT I did notice they weren't checked for soap and someone had just marked off on the paper on the door that everything was fine. A little disappointing, but they did at least offer hand sanitizer around every corner. read more

Family of 7 and spent 3 1/2 hours there. The grave digger ride was probably the lamest. The space fury was fun but such a small area you can barely move around. There is plenty to do without them. A few things were not working but we still had fun. The roller coaster simulator was a hit with us. Just make sure you wear closed toes shoes or you can't ride the 360 bike or do the ropes course and both are included with general admission. read more

While on vacation, we took our boys here and they enjoyed it. It is a bit pricey, but I believe it was worth it. There were several rides and activities that my boys liked. The employees were nice. I'd recommend it, especially if it's a rainy day and you need something to do besides the beach. read more

After looking at the website and reading about the various rooms they offered it sounded like such a fun time -but- caution!! For starters, it's way too hot to have sub-par, at best, air conditioning!! It was steamy in there and I suppose the industrial sized fans everywhere are the fix, but hardly helped unless you stood directly I front of it. Secondly, a lot of the exhibits were broken. To name a few, but certainly not all-the titanic water isn't cold, the bed of nails didn't work. Put plainly, there was more broken than operational which was a huge disappointment for the prices being charged. Third, none of the rides were wiped down between riders. So with the AC down and the sweatiness going on, bring your own wipes, absorb others sweat, or forego the rides altogether. Overall, I left with my family feeling disappointed and ripped off for over $100. At a minimum, guests should be informed about downed exhibits prior to being charged to give us an opportunity to change our minds. read more

Extremely Disappointing We paid $115 for 2 adults and 2 kids (5 & 8) and our 1-year-old was free. I checked WonderWorks' Twitter account, which clearly stated they were open for us to enjoy and explore until 11 p.m. Yes, that's late for children to be out, but the kids took a long nap after the beach, we are dinner, and made a big deal out of an adventure on the last night of vacation. I had the baby in a papoose, so we watched the boys play. We also understood that many of the activities would be out of our young age range, and we were fine with going through it without playing laser tag. We knew an hour and forty-five minutes would not leave any extra time to stand around, but my 5 year old nephew has asked to go to "the-upside-down-house" for the past 2 years. The teenagers running the activities made sure we understood that we were NOT WELCOME when we arrived about 9:15 p.m. We reached the ropes course at 10:15 p.m. and both attendants tried to push us on to the laser tag area, but we were fine with the ropes being the last activity. "It will take about 5 minutes to gear up," then "we actually stop at 10:45, so you'll only have about 20 minutes." Particularly, one kid at the ropes course (I would feel bad posting his name here due to his age and the fact that I didn't get the rest of their names) said several rude comments about closing time. If the children would not have been there, I would have demanded to see whoever was in charge of the clown show, but my husband and I pretended it was wonderful and amazing for the kids. The concession stand was empty, the floors were mopped, and chairs put up. It was bizarrely empty except for the annoyed staff standing in the shadows beside their post hoping we wouldn't notice them so we'd keep moving. There was not a single staff member who welcomed us to their area or stepped up to explain what to do. We passed the "Bubble Lab," but it was dark with no one around to help us. Remember, it was 99% empty, so it's not like we could follow the crowd or even anyone in front of us. If the place closes at 10:00 p.m., then it should market honest hours rather than reel us in (with our full price admission tickets) and not allow us to enjoy the rides or have a good time without being pushed out. It was a Friday night, and it was clear everyone wanted to get off "work," but it is really sad they didn't consider how much our boys had been looking forward to it. When my nephew was 3, I tore out the WonderWorks page out of one of those PCB attraction and coupon books, and he carried it around for days saying he had "an invitation" to the "upside-down-house." We spend about 15 days at the beach each year, so it may not mean that much to their workers, but now that the boys are getting bigger, we would have been spending more than $200 (especially on the weeks with my brother, sister-in-law, mom, and dad are all there). So we will stick to the go-cart tracks, mini-golf, and good old fashioned arcades, just like we did when we were kids. I knew it would be gimmicky, but I was shocked with the level of blunt annoyance we would face at every turn. read more

This is first time I went there and before my family went into and I already read review. They were right. This scent make me feel nauseous and want to throw up outside. All these belong to children yes mostly for children. Some adults enjoy children that was good. All bother me were there is no mask, no social distancing, and no check temperature. We went to wonderworks on 08/10/23 most of the machines didnt work. All the touchscreens wasn't calibrated right so it was hard to use, the ball throwing game wasn't calibrated right, grace digger ride wasn't working. Several exhibit's had broke pieces that made it useless. Nobody was running the space fury ride so nobody could do that either. I'm from alabama I carry a handgun for the protection of my family. They never said anything about my gun on arrival, no signs or rules against it. After a hour of being their a employee named Zachary freaked out over me carrying saying I was brandishing a gun and he was calling the cops. The management was able to control him and we had no problems with him after that. But they couldn't never show me the rules for a handgun. We went to Ripley's before this and they never gave a single issue with it. read more

We have 4 children aging 5-11. They all had a great time, we were there 4 hours and weren't bored. We learned many interesting facts as well. It was pricey, but was actually cheaper than going to an arcade or fair where you have to pay for each of the activities individually. Today was a disaster to say the least. We paid 270$ for our daughters party at WonderWorks Panama City Beach . We arrived & got thrown into a undecorated& non stocked party room. NO party attendee to help us after being told they would be right with us. After waiting 30 mins we had to hunt someone down to get assistance. Another 30 mins went by before someone came to assits us. They litterally brought in COLD pizza & drinks and left. No one came back to check on us to see if we needed anything. I do NOT recommend anyone booking a party with them any time soon! Very unprofessional. I did speak with the Manager & voiced my concerns & nothing was handled. She mentioned this has happened several times and unfortunately they don't care to fix it. Imagine showing up with your birthday child and guests to an empty party room. There package states it comes fully stocked & decorated. Thankfully I brought back up decorations just in case they were needed. We made the best of it but for the amount of money we paid for nothing is disappointing! We are not ones to usually complain or leave bad reviews but this situation definitely needs to be shared so it doesn't happen to anyone else!! read more

It is a fun hands on environment that the kids will enjoy. However, many of the science projects were not operating. Plus the extra cost of the 360 Ecoerience was mostly standing in line and timing how long it took to finally get to ride. Our timing was 5 min ride for 9-10 people waiting for 10 mins to set. They should have put a paint drying project for us to watch the whole we waited for this dull ride. If waiting in line is ten times the fun for you, then buy this extra. If not, then take a pass. This place is very poorly managed. Half the machines didn't work correctly or didn't work at all and the staff was very unprofessional. When we were in line to do the ropes course a staff member took my phone and put it on the shelf behind the gate. When confronted about it he told us that phones were not allowed in that area. There were no signs that stated this so we had no idea otherwise we would not have had it out. We paid for the vip ticket which was supposed to include popcorn but the snack bar was closed. The lights were turned off and there was no food in sight. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY/TIME COMING HERE! what a let down read more

Great place, lines take a little but yet again its a indoor theme park so that covers that. Idk why people dont like this place and the people who leave horrible reviews arent pointing out the good sides. Starting off, it's educational and fun with things to do for kids of all ages. Next point is how sanitary the place is. Third of all is if you arent into anything educational, theres the 360 bikes, the grave digger, the ropes course, space fury, wonder coaster, and more. What else are you going to do on a cold rainy day? We were on vacation and the temperature was freezing and it would rain down so we went here. My six year old and 11 year old had a great time it took us about three hours to go through everything. It's better than sitting at home and watching a movie. Just make sure you stop at all of the stations and don't pass anything by. My only complaint is almost every ride you need to be 250 lb or less. read more
