Even as I sit here with my leg elevated and an ice pack because of a wasp sting that got infected while listening to the band, I had a great time hanging out with friends. My husband and I shared a jalapeno burger sans the jalapeno as they ran out but didn't tell us that and it was mid. The fries were hot and fresh and delicious! Later we ordered the cheese curds to share with our table and they were also a sinful flavor explosion. Spicy too which was great! We were served quickly; however to get a jalapeno burger and not be told there were no jalapeno seems like a miss. We might have chosen differently had we known because this was all that came in the burger other than too much sauce. They don't have ice so bring a cooler with some ice packs for possible stings as the wasps were out in droves. And of course since I'm not a beer or bubbles drinker, you must be creative if you want to imbibe while listening to good music. The venue is great for groups and kids and they are dog friendly. Hoppy McHopface Cascade centennial chinook Amber color, malty flavor, slight bitterness on the back end. Flavors of toasted rye bread and just a hint of caramel. Very approachable. This One Goes to 11 A blend of barrel aged beers. Aromas of dates, scalded caramel, molasses, and dark chocolate. Flavors of raisins and dark chocolate (think dark chocolate Raisinets) and roasted marshmallow. High ABV but super approachable and tasty. This would be an amazing after dinner drink or a supper in front of a fire when the temps drop. 50-50 Grind Coffee hits the nose first. The first sip is smoky with coffee flavors and a smooth vanilla finish. This reminds me of s'mores without the graham crackers. Super smooth on nitro. I suggest you wait the 5-7 minutes for the perfect pour. Grand Hoodoo A proper West Coast IPA. It's hop forward and the malt is slightly earthy. The aroma reminds me of a rainforest. After the owner decided that he needed to change ALL of the TVs inside the brewery from the final Nuggets playoff game to golf, when HIS brewery was packed for the game, just so he could watch golf (when he had his own house w a tv behind the brewery). And then, he proceeds to yell at his staff, who reminder, are getting their butts kicked by all of the people who chose to come to his establishment to watch the Nuggets game. What a great venue to celebrate! Whether a private event (that's what brought me here) or just to gather with friends; Wonderland is a pretty amazing place! Running wild with the "Alice in Wonderland theme, the place has Wonderland Card Guards spread throughout the Brewery as well as some other notable character's! The patio area is great for spring and summer time with miniature golf, pickle ball courts, corn hole, they've got a great thing going! The beers are pretty good (I only had one) but the Blueberry Shandy was delicious! Since we were here for a private party I'm not sure if it was catered by Wonderland or an outside vendor, so no comment on that, but the Wonderland Kitchen looked like it was cranking out some mighty tasty food! We had a great time here after a hike. I grabbed flight, which had six beers. Every beer was good, which I rarely come across, but my favorite was the bourbon based one. I also got the mango habanero chicken sandwich. The sauce was great: a little sweet and just a light kick of heat. I thought the fries were good, but the rest of the group really enjoyed them due to their crispyness. There are arcade games, outdoor games, and the whole Alice in Wonderland theme. The staff was great and the bartender was very friendly. The cost was a little higher than I expected, but everything was great and I was really surprised by the beer and food. So the beer has never been something I'd write home about. If I was looking for a good beer, it would not be here. Finishing the a beer here has always been a challenge and I manage but I would not say I enjoy it. I haven't enjoyed the seltzer either...last time we went the flavor was just pumped in syrups which didn't help it taste any better. That all said, we used to go quite frequently because we could hang out with friends, the kids could enjoy themselves as well, and then later we would also get food. The food menu and options grew and changed over time, not all for the better. I miss the chicken they used to have for the tacos and ceaser salad, and the old fries. For a time the large pretzel wasn't on the menu but either it was added back or available off menu. It is not worth $12 and when we last ordered it, it was super overcooked. Overall, I feel that much of the food is overpriced. Oh, and the last time we went, my son was trying to CK the menu and the website had a verification for age and under 21 got rerouted to Disney's website...real cute...not. The games are overpriced. For example, the putt-putt used to be $4, now it's $8. I'm sorry, but it's really basic and not worth the that. Breweries that do this right have low and no cost options that keep people there longer and drinking/eating more. The bar staff have been fine, no complaints on their service other than they have been stretched pretty thin in the past, though at our last visit (at 5:30 one evening), and lately the parking lot, have been pretty sparce. Lastly, I do agree there there seems to be a number of issues around the owner specifically...I will just point to his response to Pam G.'s comment. As Pam observed yes, there have been ketchup packets at Wonderland and while I personally don't care, going after Pam's review on that note is only a clear attempt to discredit her. I just wanted to call that out and add a "BS" to his clam. We came to eat and drink at wonderland with a group of friends because we have enjoyed the place with all of their indoor and outdoor activities. With both of our families we have 2 kids each. We usually eat outside because it is easier for us to watch our kids. However after getting bombarded by wasps outside, we decided to come inside. Food was fine, but they did get a little behind and asked us to be patient while we placed our order. After eating, our kids decided they wanted to play in their arcade area. So we gave them a few bucks and went with them while they played. On one of the games, the kids decided to play a hockey table game. Well the kids were cheering when someone got a goal. I guess this was too loud for the bartender because he decides to come over and tell our kids to keep it down. Now 3 things with this: One the music that was playing was still much louder than our kids were. Two the parents (us) were sitting right next to the kids. Wouldn't it be prudent to let the parents know to have the kids keep it down instead of telling my kids to keep it down. Again the music was much louder than my kids were. Three we were the business at the place. There were 2 other people at the bar and 3 bartenders. We had 8 people in the bar and were clearly spending much more than them. I don't know maybe the bartender was having a bad day, he just doesn't like kids or he doesn't know how kids act, but clearly he needs a good reminder of how a business is run and how to treat people if he wants them to come back. read more

Honestly, this place is gross. The beer is the nastiest beer I've ever had. Bud Light is better than this stuff. The ambiance is seriously weird, and not in a good way. Nothing makes sense in here. There are children running all over the place. We have a pitbull that we've been bringing to Wonderland, since she was a puppy, for the last 4 years. Today, while sitting at the bar that we come to almost every weekend, the bartender made us move because our dog was "too aggressive" to sit near the entrance because she gets excited when other dogs come in the door and she barks at them. No teeth, no growling, just a verbal greeting to the other dogs. She said we could stay if we "hid our dog under a table" since we had just gotten our beers. Food options are for everyone, kids & 1 adult loved the chicken fingers. 2 of us had the shrimp tacos & the shrimp was not overcooked & crema was a nice addition. Hubby had the grilled chicken sandwich which had avocado and bacon & waffle sweet potato fires. I blinked & he ate it all. The large pretzel was a favorite with everyone. When customers pushed back, he lost it -- screaming at employees in front of everyone and lashing out at patrons who respectfully disagreed. It was hostile, embarrassing, and completely uncalled for. Unfortunately this isn't new. I've been coming here for a while and the owner has been drunk, rude, and completely unprofessional. He treats his business more like a playground than wanting to have a successful brewery. This was a new low. He doesn't respect his staff, his customers, or the idea that people spending their money deserve a decent experience. This place has potential, but it's being run by an owner who clearly doesn't respect the business. It's hard to walk away from a place where the staff is great and people come to be with each other -- and I know a lot of other regulars feel the same. I've been coming here for 10 years, and the owner has consistently been drunk, rude, and belligerent -- but today crossed a line. This will be a great place to bring your kids a stroller and they got plenty of stuff to do, we didn't bring our grandkids cause it was a date night. They have arcade games not sure about the pool tables or if they have them, it was on the other side of the wall and I didn't walk over there. We had our food inside and then we went out to the patio to hang out and have beers. I will definitely be back, when we're looking for a place to take five grandkids and four adults and may be a dog. Was really disappointed to be charged $10.00 out of nowhere for using the pickleball courts. I guess they recently changed it as I've been here before and given equipment to play for free. There are some really small signs that were spread out but we brought our own gear and purchased beers with no warning to be charged at close out.. I live 10 min away and thought this spot was cool but I'll never be back. Has potential but better beer options and free courts around. Go somewhere else. The bartender was also cocky about charging a hidden $10 fee and the "clear" signage. I also just want to note the lack of customer service and empathy. Happy to pay $10 for a court reservation if I'm told that's what it's going to be. This was Friday at 2/3 pm... no one was waiting or using the courts.. we left and they were completely empty. What a disappointment. In retrospect, this was an easy grab to pull customers in during off hours but now it's a price gouge. I understand reservations at peak hours or if renting equipment but this is just hurting your business. Good luck competing against dedicated pickle ball establishments like the one opening in Thornton.. I hope it feels ethical charging customers $10 for the unregulated painted lines. It's loud, it's arcade-y, it's... Actually pretty awesome! The name suggests there will be whimsical themes here, but outside a few Disney themed Alice statues, it's nowhere near whimsical. The bar is dead set in the center where you can get into their MASSIVE pinball arcade easily. There is also a pretty decent minigolf outside in the back for warmer weather. There is also a few small alcoves that can be quite peaceful in comparison to the excitement literally everywhere else. They also allow dogs, and made a lot of cool new barking friends while we hung out there! The food is alright, but they do offer sides of sauces to slurry up your tenders if traditional breading won't do. read more
