Great place to host a special venue. We had our Realtor Luncheon today. Beautiful and very modern…read morebuilding. Plenty of parking even though the parking lot isn't paved yet. The caters were a little slow since we had over 200 people there. I don't know if they are affiliated with Central Energy.... but we really needed 2 catering sections with one on each side. Only having one with 2 lines was SLOW! Took a long time to get food. 4 lines would have helped a lot. The food was good and the staff was nice. Seems like they might need a few more bathrooms though. If you go to the bathroom at the entrance there's 2 locks that you need to make sure are locked. Also the bathroom could use a larger trash can. The one they have is functional, but lots of paper towels were all over the floor due to its size. The food was good but I'm not sure who catered it. Larger plates would be good also. We have to carefully place the food on the plate to make sure it all fits. Anyway, the acoustics are a little off so it's hard to hear. But over all we all had an enjoyable lunch there. I hope we go there again. And I hope they hear a few of the complaints and correct them.

This is a beautiful venue and I do not regret having my wedding here in September…read more I give it only 4 stars because of the difficulties I had with Julia, the Event Coordinator. She was unprofessional and very short with me when communicating though email even though I was nothing but friendly with her. When we first looked at the venue in person, she spent the whole time texting on her phone, and when I asked her questions about where couples typically have the ceremony she said "I don't really know anything about what they do because I am not here when they have the event." The worst part was the day of the event when Julia neglected to give me the passcode to enter---on the day of my wedding. We were doing the setup ourselves and working with very limited time and I ended up getting the code 45 minutes past when we should have had it! She claimed she "thought she had given it to me" and basically gave me a "whoops" when she looked back in her messages and found out she didn't. For a venue as nice as this, Julia certainly isn't doing them any favors. Otherwise, I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It is far more beautiful in person than what you see in the pictures, and the views from the inside and outside are amazing. I love that we could do both our ceremony outside in the sand, and our reception inside (with great views!) without having to have our guests change venues. It does, however, get very hot inside in the warmer months even with the fans and air conditioning since the place is screened in. All in all, the Lake House was the perfect casual, warm and inviting setting to have our small wedding!

The Grinch theme was very fun to look at and take pictures! The hostess and wait staff were great,…read morevery friendly and nice. My family and I went for dinner and waited around 15 minutes for a table. The holiday-themed drinks were very fun. I had the Silver Bells, my sister had the Santa's hat and my mom had a holiday margarita. Mine was a nice play on a Paloma. Very fun!! My sister said hers was sweet and she wasn't the fondest. The holiday margarita was tart but I liked it. My mom preferred something a little sweeter. For the food: many menu items were Hispanic-Asian inspired. Reading these, I was intrigued in the food taste and presentation. It just fell short because of carrying on the bandwagon of Asian-inspired food, but then also mixing different Asian cuisines. First, I was curious as to how a bao bun was labeled as a Korean bao bun. The bao bun is Chinese. So if the description on the menu had more details, maybe I could've understood the Korean side. Next, a karaage orange chicken. Orange chicken is Chinese cuisine and karaage is Japanese. This chicken wasn't crispy and the flavor left a lot to be desired. The side of sticky rice that came with the chicken was cold and not sticky rice. Just regular white rice. Next: options. There were a lot of food options so I was impressed with that! I ordered tacos and was impressed with two of the three. The birria taco was good, not great. The barbacoa was not spicy as advertised but nicely moist. The shrimp tapajo only had two shrimp and they needed more flavor in them. I got the two taco platter and then an extra taco. I wish there was a three taco option for the platter. There is 2 tacos and 1 side, 5 tacos and 2 sides and then 10 tacos and more sides. If you want American food (nachos or a burger), you're in a good place. If you want to actually understand the inspired flavors of Asian cuisine, I would pass. But this also comes from an Asian person who likes to cook across the different cuisines. The atmosphere was fun, the staff were nice, the basic food was good.
