Worst kbbq place I've been to in flushing. Dont go to this place unless you wanna leave covered in grease and burn marks. There was even grease dripping from the over head vents. I had been here once before so I knew the food was good and all so I decided to come here with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. We walked in and were told by a waiter that they have a table ready, all they have to do is set it for us. After about 5 minutes two guys walk in to the restaurant, ask us how long we've been waiting and then just walk in to the restaurant and they are immediately seated at the table that was meant for us. We saw them sit so we told a waiter that they had taken our table, which was the last one left in the whole restaurant and it's an all you can eat place so who know's when the next table will be free. So he tells us to wait a minute and then walks back in there and DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We're getting very pissed off at this point especially since neither of us had eaten anything all day in preparation to coming here. So we wait to see if the waiter is going to do anything about it and since all we see him doing is eating behind the counter we decide to tell another waiter who was a lot more friendly and actually apologised about what happened. And by the time they would've had a table free for us it was too late to eat there because we wanted to have enough time to eat to get our money's worth and it was pretty close to closing time. I hope these two guys know they absolutely ruined our night. The food is good but the service is terrible and they definitely don't care about making customers happy which is ridiculous considering how pricey it is. Ok so there was no kalbi on the all you can eat menu, but besides this one omission, all your favorites will be there. I went by myself since I had business on long island and was passing through. I didn't want to struggle with parking in Manhattan or sit in traffic on the line island expressway so decide to stop here and I was very glad I did. and as it turns out this is a korean neighborhood apparently with other Korean restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. I had about 7 of the 15+ choices of meat they had on offer. All were fresh, and excellent. Pro tip, if you are hungry, order a few slices of the thinly cut brisket along side the steak or pork belly. This way your brisket will be ready in a few minutes while you wait for the rest of the meat to cook. The staff was very attentive even though I was by myself and there was a packed dinning room on a Wednesday night, yes you heard me, the place was packed on a Wednesday night. I would say this is definitely an above average Korean BBQ. As of time of writing this all you can eat was around 26/person 2 hour limit. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

let's start with the positives, got seated pretty fast no wait time, probably because it was raining out earlier, the steamed egg was delicious and the beef broth as well the meats were pretty good and lots of sides as for the negatives, i came expecting to see squid as it is still advertised online like they have squid but in the restaurant squid was crossed out which was very disappointing also when my party of 3 got the bill, there was a 25 percent automatic gratuity charge which threw me off... usually for a party of 6 or more there would be automatic gratuity.. but scratch that.. nowhere does the restaurant state this automatic charge in the shop or on the menu and as for that i don't think i will be coming back the service was very mediocre and the automatic gratuity charge with no prior notice threw me off ... waiter even told me it was 15% but it was 25% which i believe was a ridiculous amount without prior notice read more

This place is a good addition to the neighborhood. The service improved as the night went on and as we got the hang of the timing of when to place the next order so we didn't sit there waiting for food . I think the restaurant can use another 1 or 2 servers to help out when they were busy. Also I think if each server had their own assigned tables, things would run smother. There were a few times where the servers were preoccupied and I had to flip my own meats as I did not want the meats to be overcooked (not a big deal to cook myself but it might be for other patrons). Nonetheless the meats were great and at the end we were all full. The pork jowl, blade steak and surprisingly the marinated chicken were my favorites. Lastly, there's not a big selection of cooked foods and the ones that are there has room for improvement. Hopefully next time there are some new things on the cooked menu. read more

The quality of the meat here is so so good!!! Our service was great, the waiters were super friendly and ready to explain any questions we had. They cooked our meat to perfection. I would skip the marinated chicken, but don't miss the spicy pork and bulgogi beef! I do wish this place had more side options. There are virtually none, and no appetizers! This Saturday has got to be the worst experience at O2 by far. O2 has been my favorite restaurant for awhile now due to their great selection of meats and sides and their attentive staff. However my visit to this restaurant was nothing like I experienced before. We were told there would be a 30-1hr wait which is understandable because it's a Saturday night. I entered the establishment and I immediately saw there were a bunch of new workers instead of the usuals but I'm not one to judge so quickly. We ordered beef thin brisket and beef bulgogi, they gave us huge portion sizes when it was only 2 of us dining in. I think they did that so they could fill us up quickly on the cheaper meats so we don't have room for a round two and they could give our table to the next people on the waitlist. They then put the beef bulgogi on the grill before we were even halfway done with the large portion of brisket making the brisket and bulgogi burn. It should also be noted if you don't finish your meats you are charged extra! We stopped after the first round because of how hot the establishment was. Everyone in the room was dripping sweat. When we left we hear another group talking about how they felt like eating food was a punishment. You can't have a dozen hot grills and no ac. The bathrooms was disgusting. Urine on the seats, no toilet paper , hair in the sink etc. we finally grabbed the bill and we didn't think they deserved a tip on top of the $84 we spent on this lackluster meal and one of the employees stopped us to tell us tip isn't included. A tip is earned not deserved and they definitely didn't deserve it. The entire experience felt rushed and we were left very unsatisfied. I was recently recommended to go to cast iron on northern but I always thought O2 was good for us but I don't think I'll be back for awhile. read more

Took awhile for us to be seated, even though we had a reservation but this was on Mother's Day. The pork belly was much too fatty, the beef bulgogi was very tender, and the chicken was juicy. There were less sides than I've seen at other KBBQ but it is also much more affordable than other places, as it is all you can eat for $25. read more

I was planning on eating at cast iron but it didn't plan out. Found this new restaurant on yelp and decided to try it out. The service wasn't so bad and didn't have to wait long to be seated. They used to be really good. Tonight, we were a party of 5. It's fairly a small restaurant and they have limited seating. We understood and called ahead but they were already fully booked for the night. They placed us on a waiting list and when we went to check in with them, they told us 30-45 min wait but they'd call us when a table opens up. We waited in the car, and they actually called us pretty quick, I'd say in about 15-20 min. When we went back to the restaurant, they seated us at a table of 4. I thought we could squeeze in and make it work since we wanted to dine there tonight. Mind you, the grill itself takes most of the space. And there was so little room that I felt uncomfortable the whole time trying to make others at the table comfortable. After a while, 2 tables with more seating next to us available so we asked to move. They offered to ask twice but with the same answer: no, sorry. I understood why they had to do it (and I'm sure it was more work for them to switch out the table) but if they really cared, they could've sat us at the table that has more seats with the ppl that came to that exact table in a party of 4 ppl. This turned me off so much that I would probably not come back here. This is the treatment you get for paying $370+ for not so high quality bbq. I'd rather spend this money on some business who could work something out for customers who are inconvenienced. read more

Really liked this place! Have been looking for a decently priced, good quality all-you-can eat korean bbq place and so glad this place opened! We came here on a Sunday around 12 pm and seated and served right away. They gave individual mini plates of sauces and pickled veggies. Lots of meat options and good portion size. The waiters were friendly and conversational. They were also attentive. We got the beef bulgogi for every round of meat we ordered. Also got the beef brisket, tender steak, top blade steak, spicy chicken, marinated chicken, squid, and pork bulgogi. My favorite was beef bulgogi (flavored well) and the beef brisket. So.... the name caught my eye I so decided to take my kids there on a little lunch date. The rating is not an A but hey u never know...now when you walk in they ask you wait about 5 minutes for the table to be completely setup which I thought was nice. Then I take a look at the menu...They have different combos that you can choose from so I figure I would choose the most expensive one and the kids can get a more basic one being that they don't eat most of what's on the menu anyway... so I thought wrong. The whole table has to order the exact same thing... which was kind of unfair. You tell the waiter what you want and they bring it out. They had soup salad and I order some spicy rice cakes they were really dry and tough on the outside. In the beginning the waiter was nice putting in the order and as we got to our last meat he disappeared. I asked another guy and he totally ignores me... and literally 10 minutes go by and I'm just sitting there waiting. Very rude! So I guess nobody's checking the time. As far as food the meat was blah. Pork belly was crunchy but bland. Banchans were plain and boring...but the K-pop they had on tv was pretty amusing. So my bill was about $60ish and my experience was blah. read more

The meat was very tasty, but the side dishes were very minor. We didn't have to wait long to be seated and it was fairly busy. We went on a weekend so we paid weekend price ~$26 per person. The time limit is also 100 minutes for Fridays, holidays, and weekends. We eat pretty fast normally and we spent about an hour eating, but the waiters stare at you in a negative way if you keep ordering more servings. It wasn't just one waiter, it was a couple of them that have negative facial expressions. It's annoying because this is a buffet where everything is unlimited servings, so they shouldn't be upset if customers order a lot, that is what they came for! They didn't even bring you plates for the meat, we had to ask for them. When we asked for plates, again they had negative expressions. I mean, where are we supposed to eat the food on!? Also, when they brought out the soy bean soup (dwenjangjjigae) or egg stew, they didn't place it on the table. They wanted us to grab it from their hands and place it on the table ourselves. They said "don't worry, it's not hot" with a snobby expression as he waited until we grabbed the dishes. We have no problem helping the waiter grab the plate, but his face looked like he was annoyed that he had to do his job and took it out on us by making us grab each thing that came out. If you wanted to order more of anything, you literally have to flag them down because they are super unprofessional and sometimes, they "forget" to bring you something. It is extremely fatty so obviously not the best quality but still tasty?? I loooooove the steamed egg!! A really great addition to the meal. The only problem I have is that the meat they cook is left on thE grill while they grill new meat so the raw juices are obviously contaminating the cooked food. I let my meat cook a little longer for that reason. All in all not bad for $30 and a hungry hungry boyfriend. I am a little more picky and rather go to a non-AYCE place. read more

The food was delicious but during my second time here, one of the waitresses (I don't believe she meant to disrespect) came off a little bit rude to me and my friends.
