I absolutely love Stefanie Spadafino. I've been seeing her for quite a few years now and she is incredible. I was happy with my previous GYN and only saw Stefanie because my regular was unavailable, but I'm so glad it happened. I never thought I could be THIS comfortable with a gynecologist. She's is down to earth, friendly, supportive, really takes all the uneasiness out of these visits. I've never had any experience as bad as others have said regarding wait time at the Matawan office, but it does vary. For my most recent appointment, I was called in even before I finished completing the intake forms. read more

This is a two sided comment... I love all the doctors in this office. I have been a patient with them for many years. All the women in my family all go to all the doctors. The doctors have delivered babies and done surgeries for us. They truly make you feel so comfortable and taken care of. HOWEVER the office people who work here are the worst and so rude. They rush you off the phone and make it feel like they don't have time for you. They need some customer (patient) experience lessons. I recommend this practice to the highest degree but I also highly recommend going to one of their other offices either Freehold or Manalapan. The doctors are great but the office people are so rude and made me not want to go to this office ever again. read more

As much as I love my doctor, I have to say at this specific location is HORRENDOUS with wait times. I have never seen my doctor without sitting in the waiting room for at least 50 minutes. It's painful. I would recommend the Freehold office. I never had a problem with the wait times there. read more

Stephanie, the PA here, was always wonderful for my annual exam, and the office in general is pleasant and well run. But when I had some conflicting results with my mammo, then a sonogram and MRI, she strongly advised that I see a breast specialist. It is because of her guidance that my breast cancer was detected early and was very treatable. I will forever be grateful to her, and highly recommend this practice. read more

I only see Stephanie who is a PA (physician's assistant) and I absolutely LOVE her! If I ever plan on having kids I don't know what I'm going to do because she is my absolute favorite doctor. She is the friendliest, most down to earth person. She truly makes you feel comfortable while you are there and explains everything! If you don't need an OB, go to Stephanie!!!! read more

I literally downloaded the Yelp app to write this review. The service here is terrible. Whenever I go I have to wait a minimum 40 minutes to see the doctor. The last time I went to this office I waited an hour and a half and when I asked the receptionist how long it would be she told me an hour after I had already been there for 45 minutes. Once I saw the doctor she didn't give me much information about the reason I was there. It was so inconvenient and unhelpful going to this office. Every time I get a prescription from the doctor and go to the pharmacy it is never called in. Three times I have shown up and had to call the office so that they actually call in my prescription. It's a Saturday and they never called my prescription and now the office is closed. It is completely inconvenient and unprofessional. To add to this when I initially wanted an appointment the only available appointments were were two weeks away. For women looking for a on/gyn DO NOT go here. You will constantly be waiting for either an appointment, the dr., or your prescription. This Drs. office is terrible. read more

This practice should be shut down. Male dr is very Disrespectful and did not answer any my questions or concern but put me down . I left the office in tears. Then I made another appointment almost a month later with the women dr and she answer some of my question was very rushy. I didn't feel like she wanted to take any time out . I felt that was very unprofessional on her behalf. she just kept saying ok ok just go see this Specialist I said OK . I will go ahead and try to contact that other specialist. After doing my own research which was an entire day come to find out my insurance doesn't allow me to see that type of specialist and they informed me that the Gyno is supposed to send you for those tests. I then contacted the office and inform them that I needed to go for two test and they said no you can go specialist and I said to them unfortunately my insurance doesn't take infertility dr and insurance company stated that gynecologist is supposed to send you for the blood work and do that test and then go from there and they didn't wanna hear it the lady was so unprofessional on the phone which the receptionist is the face of the practice then I asked to speak to a manager and she refused to forward the call to a manager. This was my first visit to this office, but this was an excellent first visit! This Matawan office is located in a small, pleasant, L-shaped strip mall at the corner of Main Street and Highway 34. It's not a storefront: it's inside, on the ground floor, where the business offices are located. Google maps got me to the parking lot, but I did need to call them from there to find their office, as they are not listed on the main sign at the street. I arrived at 10:35 for my 10:45 appointment and was greeted by a friendly woman in the front office who signed me in and took my insurance information. The waiting room was not crowded. During this period, there was only one other person in the waiting room, and we had arrived at the same time. I spent about 15 minutes filling out my paperwork. I could have done this ahead of time by downloading the documents, but I forgot to do so. As I sat there, I could clearly hear the voices of the people working in the front office as they spoke with each other and the patients who called on the phone. Everyone was treated very nicely & professionally. After I finished the paperwork, I waited just a few minutes to be brought to the nurses area, where my weight and blood pressure were taken, and my paperwork was reviewed. Then the nurse brought me to the exam room. Once I had changed into the exam gown (cloth, not paper), I again waited only a few minutes for Dr. Dimino to come in. Since I'm a new patient, he reviewed my medical history with me. Then he gave me a thorough exam, answered my questions, filled my prescription, and referred me for my annual mammogram. Dr. Dimino was very nice, very kind and definitely concerned for my comfort. By the time I got dressed, the referral for my mammogram was ready and waiting for me at the front desk. Again, I was thanked with a smile. (I later confirmed with my pharmacy that they had received the electronic submission of my prescription.) From the time I arrived till the time I left was a total of about 45 minutes. All in all, I was very pleased and I will gladly return to this practice. read more
