I've been a patient at N FL OB/GYN since I was 15 years old. The doctors and Nurse Practitioner in this practice are absolutely wonderful. I'm now pregnant with my first child and my experience with them continues to be pleasant. All my needs are met, every question is answered, and the payment plan they offer is great! I have never waited for more than 10 minutes to get called back, which is very nice for such a busy office. And my appointment has never run more than an hour and a half! They even allowed me to schedule my 20 weeks sonogram at 18 weeks since I'd be put of town visiting family during 20 wks. They have always been helpful and so kind. I HIGHLY recommend this office! read more

So first of all I understand that global billing is legal. But to precharge for their services and threaten to kick you out of the practice if you cant pay is shady and unethical. I have had a horrible experience with this departments billing process. Also this isn't a problem with insurance as my wife and I have had different insurances to see if that fixes the problem. No it doesn't matter how much your insurance covers because they use global billing. We are halfway through the pregnancy so switching hospitals isn't a great idea nor do I think another obgyn would accept us being so far along. Stay away from this department because they aren't very Christian despite the name of the hospital. read more

I've been a patient at this office for more than 15 years. However, once I turned 65 and began using Medicare, I started receiving new charges even though my treatment did not change. These were charges the office knew Medicare would not cover, yet no one informed me in advance or asked if I wanted the service. Instead, I was simply billed. When I contacted Medicare, I learned this was not new -- and that the office was well aware these services would be denied based the medical code that was used. When I complained, I was told it was a co-pay, but both of my insurances confirmed it was not. I waited almost three weeks for an honest explanation, but none was given. In the end, I paid the bill just to close the matter. After this experience, I can no longer trust this office. Medicare patients should be very cautious -- you may be charged for services without your knowledge or consent. read more

I had surgery at Women's Care Florida and while my doctor's care was good, my experience with their billing practices has been very disappointing. The facility is in-network with my insurance, but the anesthesiologist they assigned to my procedure was out-of-network something I was never told beforehand. Because of this, I received a large unexpected bill that does not apply to my deductible, leaving me with a big out-of-pocket expense. When I contacted Women's Care Florida to resolve this, they refused to assist me even though they are the ones who contract with the anesthesiologists, not me as the patient. On top of that, a staff member falsely claimed I called her "incompetent," which I never said. Patients should be clearly informed in advance if any provider involved in their care is out-of-network and facilities should assist patients in resolving billing issues with their contracted providers. Unfortunately, my experience with Women's Care Florida has left me very frustrated and disappointed. read more

Knowing how much I loved my left ovary, despite signing to have it removed, surprise ... they left it in. The DOH and my insurance who paid for the removal were equally surprised. So if you want to be surprised and then ignored... BTW the office suggested I get a GYN oncologist for possible cancer but I am on my own with this...again surprise! read more

Everything is in tiptop shape. The front desk staff are very helpful. Ariel, who does the check out when you leave is sweet and helps with her rescheduling. my gynecologist Dr. Blankey provides excellent services as well. No complaints very respectful there. They're always there to help you and answer your questions. I would like to say to that usually I go to the appointment in the afternoon this time I came in the morning when it is more active and full of people so my wait time for my appointment was about an hour. They were not on time, but I don't know any doctor really that is on time honestly speaking, the other thing is you never know how serious cases that is coming before you could explain for the delays and receiving your appointment so you have to be patient. Perhaps consider your appointment in the afternoon to avoid more delay. read more

I've been a patient since 2010. Now my daughter is a pregnant patient. So far we've had a great experience. I don't understand the negative reviews because I've never experienced that directly or indirectly. They are constantly busy but our wait time is reasonable and typical for any appointment type. They only took 1 day to complete my FMLA paperwork and they called and emailed it to me. The staff is friendly despite the chaos and constant stress of the day. The best thing to do is know your insurance policy and ask them questions. I also don't believe most of these negative reviews because it's ludicrous. Anyways, I felt I needed to post this in their defense. read more

Customer service is deplorable! Be prepared to wait over an hour even if you have a scheduled appointment!!! I was called the morning of an appointment to cancel a visit that should have taken place within 2 hours! Mind you, I had planned to take off 2 hours from work to accommodate my doctor's appointment. The office asked me to reschedule a different appointment (more than 6 weeks out), which would delay my surgery from a specialist. This office is very inconsiderate and does not understand patient care, follow up, quality, or respect for patient's schedules, especially working professionals and clinicians! To make matters worse, i had already paid my copay without services being rendered! The office staff did NOT care if my issues were resolved or the delay (postponing) of other medical services that were dependent on this visit. Very disgruntled patient!!! read more

I have been a patient of North FLorida OBGYN/Women's Care for 30+ years. Teeange years, to prenatal care, to pre-menopause .... The staff has been exceptional. So many people have complained about the wait but if you want exceptional care (which you do or you wouldn't be there!) then sometimes you have to wait for it. The wait is worth it for these doctors. That is exemplified by the number of locations they have and the caliber of doctors/nurses they have. I've seen Drs Myers, Pack, Paulk, Conner, Greenhaw, VanBennekom, and Tyra Gunn ARNP! NEVER once had an issue with any of them. Very caring, concerned, attentive, knowledgeable, thorough, and communicative! As to timely -- I'd rather wait while the doctors take the time EACH patient needs to get the attention they deserve for their respective issues. If I want that type of care then why should I complain that the doctors treat the other patients in the same manner???!!!??? read more

Unprofessional. I took time off work, came in from out of town. I had a valid appointment time, with proof notice from the office. The office themselves scheduled my appointment time incorrectly. I pregistered the night before. It was thier fault and the nurses tried to blame me. Rude. Uncaring doctor who couldn't see me for five minutes because it was lunch time. Kristine Hernandez. I would never return to this place. read more

My PCP sent a referral to Women's Care and they scheduled an appointment for me knowing my insurance. I spent 30+ minutes completing the online forms, drove 30 minutes to their office and was given another 4 pages of paperwork to complete. Then the office manager came out and said they were NOT taking any NEW Medicare patients and it would be a $75 office visit. She was "sorry" nobody had caught it until I had traveled there and spent over 30 minutes filling out their paperwork (an hour in total). Totally incompetent and no concern that they had wasted my day! Over an hour travel time, an hour on "paperwork", and 10 minutes writing a review to hopefully help people find a more competent and caring facility. read more

Customer Service is the worst for questions. Gave them a second try and still got poor service. I went to them for my pregnancy Courtney will the billing department was awful and did not want to answer any of my questions regard the plan and payments due. This was completely different than my prior experience in the ATL area. I add additional questions and called her only for my VMs to be ignored. I sent an email to the office which was also ignored. Called around and was directed to the admin manager Winnie , again multiple cna where ignored, later advised she in meeting and unavailable. Jenny called to assist and later had Winnie call me as well. Jenny was very helpful. Between Jenny and Winnie I got my questions answered and agreed to stay with them. I had no issues with the Drs during my pregnancy or birthing experience. read more

I have been a member of the No. Fla OB/GYN (now Women's Care) family for about 20 years. They have walked me through so many things including miscarriage, health scares, PPD, and birthing my two wonderful children, and into menopause and post fertility care. They have always treated me with kindness, love, and respect the entire time, earning my trust. Specifically I was blessed by Drs. Connor (now retired) and Vanbennekom, not to mentioned Tyra Gunn (who was kind at a sad and scary time that ended in grief). The others in the practices always demonstrated a heart for care and safety for me too. Haven't dealt with anyone in a negative sense the whole time (and keep in mind that is through many hormonal induced moments. lol). Their holistic care for me as a person and patient is what sets them apart... that and them taking time with their patients too - all makes me refer this practice to anyone who asks... and a few that don't ask too. lol. Keep up the amazing work, team! Your care is deeply appreciated! You are making a difference to women in our region! read more

HORRIBLE! The doctors and medical professionals come highly recommended for quality care, and they are listed as the most favorable OBGYN practice with the best physicians in this area. I can agree the doctors are good, but the business operations, customer service, and office experience is underwhelming and super disappointing. In terms of contacting this office for scheduling, or asking a clinic question, the phone service is very poor, with outrageous hold time just to get a live person on the phone, it's unbelievable. Then from my personal experience with the staff members; this ranging from the front desk, to the scheduling or call center and even the management, this place is a constant revolving door of untrained and unprofessional employees, with a few exceptions of one or two helpful staff members. In my opinion the poor patient experience and customer service provided by these employees; who you unfortunately have no choice but to interact with, stems from the horrible new manager who unfortunately lacks the knowledge and experience to manage, train, or lead her current staff correctly on the fundamentals of customer service and patient quality. There is a major sense of disorganization with every call or visit and I guarantee as a patient you will experience extremely long wait times to be seen for your appointment or speak with someone. This issue is most likely due to employee turnover, lack of experienced leadership and encouraged over booking. scheduling too many patients at one time, and not allowing enough time to properly see patients for their visit. The company merged and became Women's Care, and everything has changed for the worse, the once loved OBGYN group are now driven by greed and money. Overbooking the providers schedules to see as many people as possible for money, and in many instances resulting in incorrect billing issues, over charging patients or the insurance company for the visit. The policies and rules are also always changing and inconsistent, so it depends on who you speak to on that particular day the information you will be give. Theres zero consistency with information you are being told, and when you ask to speak with a supervisor the call is transferred to an extension your told is the managers, but that call will go straight to voicemail, and the persons name who you are told is the manager I'm guessing has yet to correct her voicemail greeting, so when the call is transferred it not only always goes straight to voicemail, but the name of the manager who you thought you would be getting transferred to don't match the name of the person who's the voicemail or extension you were sent to. I thought maybe it was a mistake when being transferred but after several different attempts I realized the new manager didn't see a need to update her recorded greeting for her voicemails, leaving me confused and frustrated with the level of disorganization. The phone system is horrible! Then after waiting to speak with a live person and being on hold forever, basically pressing every option 1,2,3 all of the above available for assistance you will get a person on the phone, and they are most likely to transfer you elsewhere or send you to a voicemail that leaves you confused, or is completely full. Leaving us patients unable to leave a messages for care and assistance. For a place named Women's Care, it's pretty apparent with the business or management aspect they truly do not care! read more

The answering service will have you on hold for a good 40 minutes until you get connected to the front desk. I don't love love any of the doctors I have seen while pregnant. My last office was very personable, understanding and didn't make you wait on hold for a hot minute. Unfortunate this office is not one I will stay at after I deliver my baby. read more

I just went to this new gynecologist recommended by my primary care to have my annual check at the gynecologist and they asked me some questions about my health and i talk about some issues I had with when I lose a baby, after they just focus on that but they didn't event do the annual check supposed I have to get. This is my first time going there and just talking with the with the doctor charge me more than 200 dollars, having insurance PPO, and didn't do test nothing, just talking with them. Just to put your foot on the door is charging money even if I had previews visit with my primary care and it was just a referral to women's care for my annual check. They didn't even told me I need annual check! They just worries about the money they don't care about provide a gynecologist annual control for a women that didn't have that check more than 6 years. This is totally unprofessional and it's a "women's care"? The receptionist were exceptional but the business they have there it's insane!! One of those ladies told me maybe my check is gonna be less than that but not sure to cover my insurance and even didn't worry about my annual control or prioritize that!! I am new in this area but trust me I don't wanna go back to this office, it's scare the way they charge just to your first visit and having and amazing insurance ppo.... Don't understand why they didn't do my annul check and also it's charging me all that money to talk just a concern. Very sad, I am very nice with people but this is not okay what they did to me read more

I have been going here for years and love the doctors and nurses. They always make you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Do not use these people! They let my daughter go for days bleeding and in pain, told her she had miscarried, and failed to diagnose an ectopic pregnancy with the excuse that she must have an extremely high pain tolerance. She subsequently needed surgery for a ruptured tube. When she contacted them about a subsequent pregnancy, they would not see her until she paid the balance from the surgery that wouldn't have been necessary had they been thorough in their evaluation of her. The front desk was extremely rude every time she contacted them. This is NOT the same quality practice that delivered my children in the 90s. read more

I have had a few prenatal appointments so far at this location. I have been very happy with the communication with the staff and doctors. :)

Would tell anyone to go to this practice! Dr. VanBennekom is as good as they come. I've had some health issues and he is always staying on top of it and communicating anything that I need to know. The nurses here are very nurturing and try to make the experience as easy as possible! I love feeling comfortable in my doctors office and hearing from my doc himself when he calls with results! The secretaries are very accepting if you have to reschedule too, which is much appreciated! read more

As someone that has miscarried twice... I do NOT recommend this place at all. They didn't want to see me until week 6 for pregnancy confirmation. I have miscarried both times at the 6 week time frame so I felt it was very important to be seen early to get the labs done ect in hopes to make sure everything was checked before 6 weeks. They would not work with me and acted like I was inconveniencing them to request such a thing. I ended up canceling all together and calling a different ob gyn that was able to get me in the very next day. Best of all...they actually seemed TO CARE. read more

I waited an hour after my appointment time for an initial consultation for Nexplanon removal before I finally saw the doctor. Today I waited an hour for my appointment for the actual removal procedure and left without getting it done. The appointment time was 9:45 am. How are you an hour behind schedule at 9:45 am? Obviously you are taking on more patients than you can realistically see. I will take my business to another Dr who values my time. read more

Office staff extremely rude and very rough. Cold/combative atmosphere. No regard for their patients' time as they double and triple book patients willfully knowing that they will not be able to keep appropriate appointment times. Is nothing more than a money grabbing factory with little regard for patients. Find somewhere else!!!! read more

Should have read Yelp before....I made an appt for my 15 yr old to see a doctor here after being referred from our primary doctor. When I set up the appt, I followed there directions and completed the paperwork ahead of time as requested, etc. When we arrived, I checked in and after waiting 30 minutes they tell me my daughter has to have a photo ID to see a doctor. I explained my daughter is 15 and has no ID and that no one ever told me that a minor needed a photo ID in order to see a doctor. They refused to see my daughter and wanted me to re-schedule once we got a ID. I declined since I already took my daughter out of school for one appointment, totally not flexible and their policy is BS for a 15 yr old to be refused service when accompanied by her mother. read more
