It was fine. It was quick and tasty, but the chicken and the fish were not "that fresh". You could tell they were fried several hours ago... But for the price I think it was very decent read more

I realize that Naschmarkt is extremely touristy and loud, but I had wandered around for a good hour…read moretrying to decide what to eat and I'm so glad that I ended up here. The staff was incredibly courteous and to my relief, they spoke Mandarin to me (since I don't speak a lick of German). They sent out some items compliments of the chef, and the portions were all more generous than I expected. I really enjoyed their Thai coconut soup (Tom Ka Gai). One of the servers took 30 minutes to explain all the sights I should try to see in Vienna, and drew me a map and wrote everything down. Also, they have an indoor area that is air conditioned in case you're seeking refuge from the heat!

I got some sushi and it was very nice. Like most non-4-star sushi places in Vienna, your choices of fish are tuna, salmon, whitefish/butterfish, and shrimp. Li's also had some eel. I tried their mega futo maki roll, which is the kitchen sink of sushi rolls. Packed inside the rice and seaweed were tuna, salmon, shrimp, cucumber, and avocado. To top it off, there was a sweet mango dipping sauce for the rolls. Tasty, but so big that fitting it into my mouth became an engineering wonder! They make their own ginger iced tea, which was excellent and sweetened with honey. Just make sure to mix it to get the honey off the bottom of the glass. The service was decent and pretty standard for Vienna.

I'm usually suspicious of restaurants that do too many cuisine type (in this case, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Malay), but they did it very well. In my opinion, it's the best in the city! It's a great "all you can eat - but à la carte" Restaurant with lots of options (9.90 for lunch, 15.90 for dinner and on weekends). We tried almost everything and all was very fresh and high quality... and of course delicious. Of course it's not cheap in the evening but I felt I was getting my money's worth (unique options like scallops, lamb chops, homemade matcha mousse) and the waitress even encouraged us constantly to eat more and was very nice! Great new addition to the area :-)

But to be honest, the main business here is take-away or home delivery. The menu is quite varied and there are several dishes that are not as common in Vienna. I recently enjoyed a fine and crispy Japanese Moyashi salad. For an entrée, I went Malaysian and ordered the Ayam Ros Merah. These roasted chicken strips in chili sauce had lots of good flavor, especially with the addition of some sriracha to balance the sweet chili. As it is an easy stroll from where I live and across from my local cinema, I'm sure I'll be back to try out some different dishes!

Marked as "modern asian cuisine", the menu leans strongly on Chinese and Japanese dishes. Food was swiftly served and the quality was definitely above your run-of-the-mill asian place. I'm a little confused because most of these dishes are heavily Korean inspired, but there's no mention of it. The website and menu describe the food as being "Asian fushion" and also Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese. I will say, to their credit, that it was all very inexpensive, and the food was a refreshing and welcomed change from eating Austrian food for days. I had the pork belly buns and beef kimchi tacos. Both were okay, not amazing. The buns were better than the tacos, which had barely any meat or kimchi in them. They have a limited menu, and are mainly a take-away establishment. They have 3 crammed tables. If you're in the area and are having a really specific craving for Korean food, check it out. Otherwise, there are probably better food options in naschmarkt.

This small pan-asian global fusion restaurant is just across from the naschmarkt and they do suffer from some of its touristy inflation. This place was a nice stop to satisfy my craving for asian streetfood but not someplace I'd go if I was only in town for a day or two.
