For such good Chinese food in such an out of the way place (for us), we felt lucky to find Wok with Chow. My wife must have enough vegetables and the veggie tofu dish she had fulfilled her need. Good Chinese Food for a Northern town. Fast service, large portions good ambiance and priced right.

Decent quality chinese food in an area of Ontario where there is not much variety. We loved the sizzling plates on the dishes we ordered like the beef with green peppers in black bean sauce and the cashew nut chicken. Beef dish was excellent with crisp peppers and juicy beef, while the chicken dish was as we expected, mild with reasonable amount of cashews and good quality chicken (our go to dish when we pick a new place we do not know much about, and if this dish goes wrong, good luck with rest of the menu). Staff were very friendly. We were seated outdoors as indoors was packed. Covid protocols were being followed. This restaurant will be on our list when we travel Hwy-17 again. read more

Food was delicious and had great portions. I had one of their combination platters which comes with sweet & sour chicken balls, chicken friend rice and sweet and sour pork. Prices are fair but beware of substitutions, they can cost a lot. My girlfriend wanted beef and broccoli instead of beef and peas and it costed $3.95 to change from peas to broccoli. Had the Shrimp egg foo young, seafood hot and sour soup, and shrimp noodles. Very good food and friendly service. Portion sizes are great for sharing too. And very willing to accommodate different dietary rules (if you want something that originally comes with meat they can sub it seafood or veggies instead). read more
